Something weird is happening. On my post a few up I quoted what advantage_card had posted plus I added my own to it. When I check it now, my part is gone.

Anyway I tried to use my extra points voucher tonight along wtih the 1200 points for £50 spend and they wouldn't take them. Really annoyed as I should have had 1000 extra points. Good mind to put the stuff back.

Ilford had a 1200 pts eve and 10% off last day - not funny though as didn't get any TnG pts and one of the 9 tng split so shampoo everywhere 3 now refunded - told em bought with 10% off but still refunded £9.98 - now to return the other 6!

Did however get my 2850 pts on good 'ole cucumber/ffree + 1200pts as over £50 adn 10% off too so really not bad - what is funny though coz ilford and liv st had both blocked out vouchers - I had to go prepared via Chancery Lane store's adcard machine vouchers instead (bit unfair really as only I could buy the cucmber/ffree cleansing bars at 54p each including 10% off ;D). And, it was not triple pts in Ilford but guess what, until Sun 5th Dec its triple pts again! And Liv St. has 1200 pts on 50squid shop on tonite too!

All in all £40 shop and 4200 pts - so far so v.good and Wiley Cayote came home with me too.  ;D

Oh yes, redeemed pts with 10% off again yesterday as last day - will be missed by me for sure!  :'(

Careful Littlemisscheap - taking those other 6 back and getting full price even when you've told them about the discount and also just taking them back but keeping the points takes you into the realms of obtaining property by deception. If you are really thinking of doing it, then don't broadcast it - it will give others ideas. Let's not bite the hand that feeds us, especially where it breaches the law.

Im going to shopping eve tonight....so that must mean i will get triple points aswell as 1200 ..is that correct ?
I'm going to stock up on Xmas Chocs....

I have not obtained anything by deception thankyou - and in fact, I would strongly discourage anyone to do so! Not worth it - as anyone who knows about poor Seaniboy's experience which was awful on Boots part, but its not healthy or pleasant either!

I had the receipt with me - it clearly stated I got 10% off and I also made a point to point this out to staff in store only they decided that they could not manage to get the exact amount to include 10%off and as the item had spilt all over the place including on the checkout when I returned them, they apologised that I had to bring them back with no more to exchange them with in stock of that type and hence, exceptionally gave the full price.
In any case, I will be buying them again when in stock and paying full price, and this time getting the points I missed out on last time with the 200pts voucher!

Hope that's clear now - in case anyone still has any doubts.

PS (the other 6 is just wishful thinking! - I personally can't even give all 3 cucumber/ffree vouchers)

why has the offers on my card been so bad for weeks and weeks now. ??? ???can't remember the last time i got anything from them now. i never receive their discount mags sent through post >:( yet my mum who never shops their does. boots are going down hill in my eyes

There appears to have been a list of people (your mum included and my sister included but not me and you) who once upon a time when adcard was first introduced, signed up to it and were the first x to sign up - since then, these people have received every offer/mag that was ever sent out to anyone - jammy so and sos and there does not seem to be anyway to somehow get on to this list!

Am I right? was your mum one of the very first adcard people to sign up?

But did you know that if your mum has a non-personal double pts voucher and you don't, each voucher is valid for 2 uses per adcard so there is nothing to stop you using the voucher twice along with your mum....nice little loophole there, me thinks.

Then again, I wonder if once you've used your voucher twice, you could always pass it on to the next person via a pm?
