Can you buy an all in 1 TV with Freeview - Recordable?

Each to their own but where space is at a premium then an all in 1 might be a sensible option. Another advantage is the absence of wires.
I am very please with my Sony

With a 19" screen, it would be cheaper.
PS: I bought it from John Lewis with a 24 month warranty for £1079. I would suggest a flat screen digital TV, humax and a laptop would cost considerably more."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Thanks to everyone for all the help you are giving me! It doesnt have to be all in 1, I was just thinking this for ease of use and simplicity. I am just basically looking for the best price to get a smallish screen and be able to record when i'm out/watching something else, like I used to be able to do with my £30 VCR! lol (and plug my laptop into it once per month to proof read the local magazine I publish - www.da1living.co.uk)0

You may want to consider a TV with an SD card facility. My Panasonic does, but it was not cheap! If all you want is to record the odd program whilst you are out, there are many cheap DVD recorders, e.g. from £59.99 @ Asda."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

The choices... lol0

I think its most sensible to get a Freeview box with twin tuners and HD to record on. Would anyone recommend a good value 19inch TV and HD to purchase with it?0

It depends on your budget? Be careful as cheap TVs often look OK in the shop but the picture/ sound is not as good. Some DVD recorders can be difficult to use, make sure you check out how easy the on screen program features are to use.

Thanks! Is this Cello brand good? My budget is flexible. I am really looking for a value for money TV with good picture at a good price. I would also pay extra for a DVD recorder which has an easy to use display so I dont have trouble recording things on Freeview!

The Cello picture looked good to me. I have no idea if it is reliable, but I would suggest with a 5 year warranty you will be OK.
If your budget allows, I would suggest you go for a Panasonic / Sony TV and PVR .
The Sony PVR I listed plays MP3 which may be a bonus for you?"A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Thanks. I'm a boring sod and dont listen to much music (prefer TalkSport, Radio 5, etc) and I dont even watch many DVDs! I take your point, with the 5 year warranty, you cant really go wrong with that TV! :T0
