oh.. ANY REQUESTS FOR SPECIAL JOBS TO BE ADDED THIS WEEK???

And no you can't have the week off!

The car! Take two bags and a wet cloth out to the car (microfibre clothes and a bit stradrops is great) fill one bag with rubbish and the other with toys/socks/phone bills and anything else that shouldn't be in there.
Wipe down the dashboard etc and wipe any dirty marks of seats. Hoover if you wish, or do what Tia does and spray with febreeze and claim you hoovered.
Fill up your 'spare parking/quick coffee/emergency chocolate fund' coins (well hidden of course, from car sharers and thieves)
Check children's car seats are fitted correctly too.

    and!

    Is your garden a tip?
Collect together all the rubbish and arrange an uplift, take it to the dump, put it in next door's wheely bin...

Car and porch are great ideas!!! I don't have a porch and the car was valeted on Friday :D (ok maybe wipe the sand/muck off the door shut just done) :rotfl: so less work for me!

Light fittings, I mustn't put them on the kitchen/dining room list as mine are disgusting. Fireplaces, yak, my fire (even if it has no surround) is manky. Pet areas, cat/dogs beds, near cages, manky fishtanks etc. Window frames inside. I need to do the conservatory aswell which I usually do on study day (base PC in there) but this week I need to do it before Tuesday (still not finished!) Kitchen cupboards, inside the one I use the least is horrid.

See usually my lists are inspired by what I find that is disgusting, not doing them means a list of not done things......

Oh and my DS2 hides his nappies too, have no idea why, that's one reason I got him a bed that goes all the way to the floor, no underneath to hide them! Made th carpet under his last bed stink because of doing that.

Went to the park, VERY busy, lots of ignorant people who seen we were waiting for parking spaces and went straight past us, no I didn't keep quiet and had a little rant at some ignorant bloke. Boys enjoyed it and got them out for a while, they came back and had 20 minutes on the trampoline then decided they wanted to come in, so being the meanie I am they were told no switching computers etc on until the floor was clear!

Tonight is usual Sunday night jobs, weekends laundry to put away (well everything that's been washed since Thursday really :o) boys bathed, uniforms and packed lunches to sort (MUST REMEMBER TO DO JELLY - that's a reminder for me) DP has offered to sort the boys for bed inc bath time which he never does, firstly wondering if it'll happen, secondly what he's after :rotfl: he offered to get a chinese (my fave) aswell, hmmmm, after something. Suppose he's noticed I haven't been in the best mood that he's spent 2 days in south shields and not seen the boys this weekend.
One day I might be more organised...........

Car is on my list for this week - if DS wants pocket money he will be doing it!

Garden - plant anything you havent especially bulbs etc - put them in pots if necessary.

Sort your seeds so you don't buy what you have.

    Right mince is cooking.

Half way through fixing DH chair and it is a b****r

Really want to put a few bits on ebay - must look at fees link - thanks AnW'sMum

Mrs Snowy - thanks for that I do have some of that goop somewhere to past on. It is not hurting too much and I have not dug at it. Would the GP know if I have had 5 tetanus shots? I have no idea

All the washing dried well and it's folded and put away now.

Finished my crossword (cheated on google.....)

Had a lovely hot bubble bath (DH watching fishing DVDs again *yawn*). DD asleep on settee. Dog pacing the house. She's getting old, she paces sometimes (and pees at other times....)

Looked at the ebay fees - what a rip off! I can't work out a situation where anybody wins apart from paypal. Ok if you don't seel things it costs you slightly less but you haven't sold it!

Ebay fees are getting stupid, just greedy, no wonder the company is worth a fortune! Won't be long before something better comes along in competition, I remember Qxl used to be quite popular but isn't any more.

Oh spoke to my friend who :rotfl: could have guessed this part, had drank too much and doesn't remember being so forward, guessed he'd pull that one after I said no. Nevermind :rotfl: at least I don't have to pretend to be nice about it. What a liar :rotfl:

Ok, what have I achieved so far today? Front room now has a floor again rather than being piled high with junk. Electric bill paid. More maps up on the bay. Roat in the oven cooking - veg will be prepared once I've done half an hour's ironing.

Now to find something reasonable to watch on TV whilst I do the dreaded ironing.

    WEEKEND Frolics

    • Extra 30 minutes ironing.. school uniforms? work clothes? I need to do more than 30 minutes!
    • [strike]Change any bedding you didn't get chance to do over the week! In hand[/strike]
    • [strike]Meal plan for the next week and make a shopping list... based on what you found in the freezer and those things that need using from weekly cupboard sweep I don't meal plan, but I do do a shopping list and will do a stock take on my freezer contents list[/strike]
    • [strike]spend at least an hour with your family... playing, reading or just watching a dvd and having a hug! This is unlikely to happen as my family are grown up and do their own thang[/strike]
    • [STRIKE]Work yourself to level 3 in your messiest room!! (I'm going to regret this one!!) This has to be the front room![/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Bake a cake for after dinner.. it only takes 5 minutes.. come on!! We must be the only family who don't do sweet stuff!
    [/STRIKE]
    • Touch up the paintwork in one room!!! I'm willfully ignoring this one!
    • [STRIKE]Fill a binbag of things to get rid of.. charity/bin etc This will happen when I do the front room[/STRIKE]
    • 15 minutes hotspots clearing
    • Clear out your handbag and coat pockets and update your finances.. if needed of course!
    Others:
    • [strike]Phone up about the disappearing system and if it's found, work on it[/strike] Missing system now found
[strike]Hairdresser 11am (I'm fortunate in that I have one that does house visits!
    [/strike]

Well my back room is ALMOST kind of presentable.. I wouldn't die totally dead if someone cam ein like I would have earlier.. and hubby doesn't know it yet but he is putting the curtain track back up which DS3 dragged down while having a hissy the other week.. They are putting ALL the toys in the toy box in the front room then I am off in there to vacuum..

AND I am STARVING so may have to sling dinner in the oven to cook while I vacuum.. and I need to find some mince for tomorrow.. I feel like savoury mince tomorrow.. to pee the children off.. and I don't care!

  • Well, DH now home and been plying me with tea and coffee while I finish dusting. House is beginning to look more like it was. DS has been very helpful and DH is going to make dinner so I don't need to worry about that.

Headache's now subsided, so thanks for the hugs, beers, G&Ts etc.

Samphire - :hello: let me know if you're ever in Cwmbran for shopping! Sub Zero's good for a coffee. :D That goes for anyone else, too. Good shopping here, most under cover and all free parking.

Rach - I'm in facebook, but can't find you to see piccies?

Off to do a bit more before dinner.
