Yeah! Mrs Rach. So pleased you had a fab day after all that hard work.

Glad your settling into married life well - and make sure you keep him working, that way you wont have any of the problems a lot of us on here do!

Looking forward to seeing some pics!

Pink Fairy is it too early for a G&T!! Maybe-have a cuppa to chill instead

I wish, but I'm Tee-total. She'd drive anyone to drink! Still hiding from her and my work mate.;) I don't see why we should do stuff on the weekend when we don;t get paid for it. (Bad enough we don't get paid for housework.:rotfl:)

Oh well, been to town and done the Game stuff, more ink and paper for PC - glad we can bill work for expenses, most of it's for them, popped in to brother's and had a coffee, just had lunch made by DS while I did yet more dusting, now back to work. I look like a Homepride Flour Grader!:rotfl:

Hubby up in the loft clearing space for the remaining junk from the middle room.

I NEED to go supervise the bedroom clearing but cna't quite bring myself to do it! It is too big a job.. and it will be getting done once the middle room is cleared and we have moved out of our room decorated it and moved the girls into it.. we are then totally gutting their room.. plaster off the walls and everything.. so I may just ignore it.

I have 2 lots of washing out, one in the dryer, one hung up to dry, the DW has been on twice, the dry laundry is all folded and half is out away.

At some point this week I am going to phone my friend and drag her out for a drink.. I don't care whether she can afford it or not but I am going and she is coming with me too!!

wow, pink fairy your DH must be special to get recognition like that. How exciting to get to dress up and possibly get to Buckingham Palace!

Hi Rach, glad to see you back, congratulations too!!

    Welcome Samphire

serena hope you are feleing better soon.

I feel the urge to bake some cakes today so will go and prep for Sunday dinner and then I can cook cakes at same time as the chicken. I am only going to be away for three days so I am sure family don't need lots of cakes made but it might save on them spending on crisps and biscuits. Last time I was away we left £100 for food and emergencies for a week. They didn't touch anything in the cupboards or freezer and spent every penny! This time I am leaving only enough for bus fairs, a menu plan and enough food for a month.

    Right must go and cook.

  • Thanks for all the advice on cleaning up wee for my little potty trainee, who is currently running round the garden in his helicopter pants. Pink Fairy - yes, we're in Chepstow, very close to Cwmbran! Pollybear - samphire is an edible plant that grows on cliffs by the sea. I love the sea - have just had a text from my parents who are having lunch on the seafront in Bournemouth and I wish I was there .. looking forward to our summer hols on the beach in north wales already (Haven booked with clubcard vouchers!!)
  • Happy Sunday.

It is still bright but a bit chilly here. DS has slept a lot this weekend - us too. I think there might be a bit of a bug hanging round as he had about 5 hours throughout the day yesterday, then slept 111/2 hours last night.

The farm was really good yesterday. We have also spent some time together in the garden letting charlie play with a football. I've just left DH and DS out there, and come in as i was finding it a bit cold.

Plan for the afternoon here is the rugby, and then this evening i will probably take up the hall curtain that i have been meaning to do since before xmas. That probably means i should probably run the hoover around in the living room first as i can then spread it out on the floor.

We watched March of the penguins last night which i really enjoyed. Don't think there are plans for anything tonight, but we may see what CDs we want to listen to or find an old DVD to rewatch. We are trying to chill out and enjoy the time together while we can.
