  • serena best wishes for the supply teaching tomorrow. Can't say it it something i would have the self-confidence to do, so i admire anyone who does

pancake day is that this week? I was trying to work out if it was or not  but assumed it would be after half term as it is usually closer to Easter. Pigpen - no, witchy girl has everything, mobile phone (at 8) the lot! I think she just wants attention so she might be jealous that way.

Michelle - I might be wrong but isn't pancake day something to do with lent and 40 days before Easter? I know Easter is early this year so maybe that's why pancake day is. Please don't anyone quote me on this but it just rings a bell!

Now I just need to remember how to make pancakes. I know it's flour, water and maybe something else, lol! I'm good aren't I!

Michelle.. it is pancake day tomorrow.. and it is never closer to easter as it is the start of Lent.. traditionally they would eat all the eggs, fats and milk in the house and not live on bread at not much else for the 40 days and nights until easter.. it is just to scare you into realising just how close easter is.. and please you that the holidays are nearly here! Mothers day is the 4th Sunday of Lent

argh really need to make sure i have everything done this week from the list. Just had a phone call from the local vicar and she's coming round a week wednesday to discuss banns being read. I can't let her in here with the place as it is!
Guess this is the best introduction to flylady - being forced into doing things.

Washing in WM and TD, can't be bothered to deal with that either....

Too tired...DH gone to work, 3 out of 4 children in bed and asleep, oldest wandering around tiredly looking for stuff, I hope she goes to bed soon cause I'm tired!
She's just gone into her room...horray! Of course she's left all the lights on...

My bubble wrap is smelly.. it has been kept in the shed so is musty smelling.. yuk!! Best post the things that are wrapped in it first.. before the contents pong too.. I have 6 things left to wrap and 18 not paid for..

Posting a moses basket.. it'll be ok tied up.. put in a binbag, wrapped in bubble wrap and then a huge plastic catalogue bag won't it?? it is a soft one so it isn't like it will smash.. may take the hood rods out and put them inside it though.. so they don't snap... I'd be happy to receive it like that..

Pink.. the batter is supposed to be better batter the longer you leave it.. so overnight would be best!
