This is my update on F2s after my call to them today. The CSA I spoke with was knowledgeable and polite. There was absolutely no problem in obtaining the MAC code but he did proceed to ask me why I was leaving. I told him because of price and I could obtain the same package as I am currently receiving from them - cheaper. He then proceeded to offer me Feb, March & April Free. I would still get the 500 mins of phone calls in these months. the next 9 months would be £13.99 (£1 cheaper than I pay now) and unlimited usage, but I would need to stay with them for 12 months. It still works out slightly dearer internet charge wise, than say Plusnet or Be and Quidco but the bonus is the 500 mins of free telephone calls each month. I think its a pretty fair offer so I will need to make my mind up soon. Regards - sally

I doesn't change the fact that you would be committing to at least another twelve months with the worst known provider!

Hi,
I here what you are saying. The CSA said that they are under the same banner as Tiscali but are separate IYKWIM???!!! I have also read the 'horror' stories regarding Tiscali and it does put you off. My experience with f2s can only be described as good/excellent. In all the years I have been with them, I have only lost the connection twice and this was resolved quickly although I don't know what would have happened had it occurred on a weekend. It could be that they remain as they are and still run a good ship, but I have experience of working for someone who was 'taken over' and whilst nothing was going to change, the inevitable change did happen and the place/job was never the same. Back to the drawing board me thinks! Thankyou once again. Sally
