I don't care about that. I don't see why buses should have their own lane while the rest of us, who, by the way are paying through the nose to run a car, should be packed like sardines in one lane while the dedicated bus lane is largely empty.I think if you read the earlier post by tanith, you have your answer in the place the OP referred to.0 -
Start a thread about it then, rather than hijacking this one!I don't care about that. ....................No. It's an open forum; therefore there is no possibility of hijacking threads.0

That's absolutely ok for you to hold your own opion on this. Let's hope, that should a similar thing happen to you or one of yours, that you maintain that opinion.
I don't tailgate buses like an idiot after the barrier has lowered specifically for the bus and the big massive signs say bus only.
Besides if you watch the video you'll see the drivers who it happens to drive up to the barrier and cannot get through, they have ample opportunity here to figure out the road is not for them, but they wait for a bus and follow it.0 -

As I said, good for you. Let's hope you feel the same when you accidentally do this, that or the other in your car, ie get flashed by a speed camera. Or are you the perfect driver that never does anything wrong on the road, ie never venture above 30 in a 30mph zone?0 -
I have just had the pleasure of receiving a Penalty Charge Notice from Brent LBC. I live in Doncaster and had an appointment at Central Way but missed the turn off from the North Circular and ended up at Hanger Lane. By mistake I ended up on Twyford Abbey Road and entered the Bus Lane.
I shall certainly not be coming to London again in a hurry. It must be the most unfriendly place in Britain!0 -

I can understand your frustration. Not from my own experience however, as I've not been fined in the way you describe. But it is all getting a bit too much with these cameras everywhere. They are not ther for safety or anything remotely to do with public well-being. They are there as cash generators for local authorities. It's truly appalling that it goes on as it does, but the strapped UK motorist is must be reaching the band-end of their patience with these stealth taxes.0
