  • is it just me or does anyone else love Greengate??? http://www.greengate.dk/I think I'd just like to move into one of their sets/pages. It looks so fresh. Having looked at UK stockists things seem expensive to me £36 for a cushion! I'm having a go at making some cushions in Greengates style for my newly decorated bedroom out of some old LA green gingham my friend gave me an old M&S blouse which is just like the strawberry white pattern and various other bits and pieces I have. Wish me luck!!:D

Right Folks let's get back to the £299.99 Ebay Kitchen Larder saga.
    Remember the one?
Well I checked today to see if it had been relisted. It hasn't, but to my surprise feedback had been left!
Surely it wasn't a genuine buyer?!
Well, Sherlock here took a look -
feedback for the buyer was left 31/3/08 at 18.34,
feedback for the seller was left 31/3/08 at 18.37.
Wow a coincidence? I think not.
    Seems he bid himself then.
What an idiot - he'll have to pay fee's now - all to save face!

*disclaimer* of course it could be that both buyer and seller happened to leave feedback within minutes of each other..... lol
 Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.

If you really like the Greengate stuff then buy a tea-towel and make it into a cushion. It's much cheaper than buying the cushion or the fabric.

What a lovely catalogue, and what a good idea to buy a tea towel and do it that way. I've been lurking for quite a while, as haven't had anything useful to say (not sure I have now!), but I'm definitely going to do this.
Thanks for posting, lily (though you may cost me a fortune, as I want to buy a lot now!).

  • I'm starting a Couture Dressmaking course next Tuesday! Actually I didn't even want to do it.... I booked for Millinery but they had such a poor response they combined them!!
I wish I could join you! You must have a look at making kids clothes. There is such a good market for individual childrens clothes at the minute.

Could possibly be automatic feedback? A lot of the larger businesses have some sort of programme that writes feedback automatically as soon as the other person has written their feedback. doubt it though :D

greengate catalogue is GORGE!! I want I want I want!! :rotfl:

I think they are imported by shops: put greengate into google, and you may find a local shop that stocks them. This one does mail order (if the link works!) - tea towels are £5.
