Thanks, Pip. I’m going to look for those.
Non-knitting-wise, @PollyWollyDoodle, do you listen to the Kermode and Mayo Film Review?  It's an extended version of the show that they've been doing on Radio 5 for at least the last 14 years.  (Are you a "member of the Church of Wittertainment?")  If not, then I can thoroughly recommend it.  You don't have to be a film buff to enjoy them wittering on.  They can be very (unitentionally) funny.

I first heard them broadcast while driving home from Scunthorpe in 2009.  If you listen to the broadcast show, there's a whole lot more in the podcast.

    Savvy_Sue,
Thank you so so much for telling us about the Addi CraSyTrio knitting needles. I have almost finished my first ankle sock on them, and I can't recommend them enough! I haven't needed to transfer to dpns to turn the heel, and it was so easy to just have half on one and half on the second and knit with the third. I may just get a bit obsessed about them. 😁

You're very welcome! I'm a bit 'meh' about them, but I have bought sets of DPNs with 5 or 6 needles, which I think would make it easier than just using 4.

I finished the socks last weekend, but as they're dk wool, I think they'll either be bedsocks or bootsocks! Still, I'm pleased with how they turned out and I'm hooked on the idea of three bendy needles to knit them. I have two Addi short circulars for sock wool, so I might have to buy a third one now I've figured out how easy it is to do them on three.

That's lovely wool. Is it 100% wool or a mix?
Sorry if you've already said 😙

Thanks Pip. I don't know what's going on with my kindle, it did the same thing the other day!

74% acrylic 26% cotton, Stylecraft Tweedy. Really soft to the touch.

I don't wear 100% acrylic but hope this mix will have enough cotton in it to stop me breaking into a sweat as soon as I look at it.
