Well today has been a good day generally.

I have made about £30 from ebay and other items which is brilliant and my engagement ring has 1 bid on ebay (£50) so thats fantastic news. :T

The envelope to send 2 old mobiles has arrived today, so when i send them tomorrow I should get a cheque back for £32

Anyway... doing some bingo now :rotfl:

Just a quick note from me.

I have made around £27 on ebay/amazon today, however need to refund someone £20 for an item not received. But that still leaves me £7 up. None of my bingo payments have gone in (so cant count those yet) and my bank account is going to look very bleak after tonight (£250 for my months travel to come out  ).

Im feeling very drained now so have decided that I am not going on the computer when I get home, I am having a bath and chilling with a chip butty in front of a dvd, with the cats (they have had hardly any attention in the past 3 days bless them:rotfl: ).

Hopefully I will be full of beans (and money saving ideas!) tomorrow! :j

    xx

What a lovely sunny day today, and its started off quite well too!!

I sold an item on ebay for a buy it now price (havent counted it though as money isnt in my account) and 2 bingo wins have been credited to my bank for £49.71! :j

PLUS the job i went for an interview for on Tuesday, i found out yesterday that I got it!!! It means doing something i really want to do, and for £1.5k extra a year! :T That will deffo help me get debt free by the end of 2008.

Just need to keep positive as I have had some bad problems with men (found out someone i saw for a bit last December has a girlfriend and small child... ) and the guy I went on a date with recently has vanished off the face of the planet!! :rotfl:

Apart from that, all going well!!!! ;)

Hi Amy, fab news on the job and the payrise. That should help you out tremendously.

As for men I was well off them until last July. Had such bad experience with ex hubby then new boyfriend that I was quite happy never to see another one again. However, when I was least expecting it, met a really fabulous man who has been really good to me (so far).

Don't give up hunni, you'll meet your prince, just got to kiss a couple of frogs first!

    Hi Amy,

I've also had my share of "bad experiences". My fav though was with my fella I lived with in the US (we were together over here and moved over there together). He slept with the girl next door, told me he'd dreamt it, then expected me to believe it!!

There was violence and other stuff going on there too but I just think the dream part of it is really funny.

Anyway, I went off men completely! And now....I'm married! Yey! He was going through a bad break up, was sworn of women and we just became friends....one thing led to another......

Anyway, I wasn't looking for anything and was happy alone, it just sort of snook up on me. So there is nothing wrong with just being happy being alone. In fact make the most of it! I found out a lot about myself after my break up, and learned how to be friends with myself and like me again (a lesson that needs relearning after abusive relationships).

Besides, it's easier to save alone.....my hubby won't bloody stop spending on rubbish! Grrr....
