Do me a favour see if there is anything
else in this range that I have not already
mentioned if there is can you let me know
because I will go to another branch.I had
    wanted tea towels in this.
When you go looking for it they are planning
a mothers day display, but in ours they had the
stuff stacked in the different departments
mugs in crockery, chopping board with kitchen
    ware etc

itching to take the scissors to this apron
and make things theres a good chunk of fabric
    here.

Also not in this range but they are also doing a
pack of a tea towel and a hand towel in cream
the towel has a cup cake embriodered on it.
the set is £2.99.these are stacked with the
    tea towels

I havent had chance to get to Morrisons yet.. and probs wont till next week... o no... we do our shopping in Sainsburys and they never have anything cute in there.

I`m going to get some cupcake fabric and make some scatter cushions for one of my spare rooms as I really want to have a go at making one and adding individual embellished cup cakes onto it, and even maybe some cupcake pomanders...:j

I bought this stand from Homebase last year which I use as a fruit bowl most of the time but for cakes when we have parties etc. It was only £6.99 and looks great when used as a cake stand (best to use muffin size cakes). I know that Argos/Homebase no longer sell the pink stand, but I saw the same one today in Homebase in cream which looked really nice.

Lovely stand, just the right size for diplaying my flannel muffins!! Do you think Homebase will still have them? You said not the pink ones but cream would be good. Going to have to go and have a look.( and take a muffin with me to try for size)

Well I have started to update my kitchen with cupcakes now I fancy making new curtains.... I don`t know where to start though ,... but I have good intentions if that helps, so if anyone could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. I was also looking at making covers to go over my chair for my dining table, as I have a kitchen/diner...
I really want they cupcake apron.... just for show... & can help. I would realy apprciate it.

    Many thanks

  • When I tidy it up I'll take a picture of my kitchen for you all. Its my pink shabby chic refuge :D

I have a pink TV, I covered the chairs with Cath Kidston strawberry fabric and put pink pom-poms round the edges. I made pink voile curtains with strawberry tie backs and I got pictures and hook plaques from this shop...

I hang all my cute jugs on the hooks. Unfortunately the place is covered in wax, half finished candles and boxes wah!

  • ooo Im now re-thinking the whole cupcake kitchen thing... Ive just been stood cooking in my kitchen and thought about how much I love it- my kitchen is french country/country kitchen with a modern twist, I have chic french cafe wall tiles hanging up and my lovely decorative watering cans on the windowsill... a fab find in Morrisons, they have little butterflies and bees on them...

So now Im thinking of making some little brown/cream gingham curtains and plaited tie backs.

Im going to make some cupcake things for one of my spare rooms instead, as I still totally love the cupcake theme.
