As for the frilly aprons, I don't think the poor lad that was working in the shop would've enjoyed that look too much!!!:eek: Although he seemed comfortable being surrounded by pink stuff ;)

There's all sorts of little quaint shops in Chichester (and the biggest Roman mosaic I've ever seen at Fishbourne), and most of the original shop fronts are still there in tact, so big chains aren't so imposing, which is something we like. It's very much like Winchester and Salisbury which I also love. IF you do go to Chichester, see if you can spot the original Shippams Paste factory clock and front ;)
My OH comes from the Lakes, so I love visiting Bowness when we're up there :j Actually I think I like anywhere that Lakeland put a shop! :rotfl:

Dont spoil my dream savvy... Im sure with some rosy cheeks drawn on with lipstick and a nice side parting the lad working in the shop would be fine wearing a frilly pinny :rotfl:

I agree with you about the Lakeland thing. I love going into York and Harrogate, I adore "proper" little shops with goodies and gorgeous little things.:j
  • Does anyone make and sell cakes on here??
If so, do you need any certificates etc??

Im trying to get on the first step of my cupcake shop... best to start small and build up!

The really sad thing is I hardlys ever eat cakes, I just love looking at the lovely colours and designs people use when making them!

I make sweet things all the time, cos Im curious to try things out and end up throwing loads away cos neither myself or OH eat much sweet stuff!
