    Soem lovely stands and cakes...

i am abit of a tupperware addict and what i bought new over 20 years ago still looks new now in my kitchen...

anyway just to say i have a tiered tupperware stand, can't find a pic, it's cream and the stand comes into two flat plates with a tube center which can be filled with hot water if doing quiches etc...

it looks good with cupcakes on too , has been very usefull for partys over the years and you would probably get one from a carboot if lucky enough!

i do love the wire ones tho but i have a small kitchen and fear i would have no where to put it along with all the tupperware that takes up room.
I treated myself in morrisons to the cupcakes chopping board and sandwich/cupcake tray months ago....need the tea towels now lol.
I am going to attempt those cupcake icecreams in cornets well done!!

    Thanks

I used to have one of those :) had forgotten all about it , took up so much room though, give it to charity shop. You used to be able to use the centre tube as a vase too. I know some flower arrangers used them for displays - cut flowers in the vase, then either moss, driftwood or leaves etc on the tiers.

When I first got it, I assumed that was what it was for as I missed the instructions at the party! I've since seen these being used for floral displays. A friend told me sometime later that the middle tube was actually for putting in ice to keep sandwiches fresh. Never thought about hot water though, I admit. :)
