I think Boots have stolen the fab flannel cupcake idea from MSE users! I am gutted now as I haven't had the opportunity to give any flannel cupcakes away yet as my girlie birthdays are mainly in May/June and my friends will think I've swiped the idea from Boots!

I remember ages ago looking for
cake pics on ebay.com and came
accross this seller they do a big
    selection including spiderman
could this be the same one

Can't get the link to work rosekitten. I bought the Spiderman cases from a US ebayer from ebay.co.uk not .com but still can't remember the seller details. The cases I got were a great price (50p for 50 not inc. p&p) but took nearly a month to get here.

I'm sure they'll appreciate them and you can truthfully tell them that you had made yours before the Boots ones came out.

Although I said that the Boots ones look better than they show in the picture, they're still not as good as some I've seen on here and because they're flat and the cases are quite deep so you don't see that much of the flannel, they don't look much like a cupcake either :)

    I had a thought this morning.................fruit salad sundae/trifle!

I wonder whether a glass sundae dish with a scrunched-up flannel mixed with bath pearls showing along the outside of the dish (to look like bits of chopped fruit), with perhaps another flannel (yellowy, custard colour) on top , then maybe a cream bath scrunchie, topped with a cherry bath pearl would work!

It might be fun for a dinner party and could probably be just as effective with the bottom flannel being a colourful pattern.

I'm not wonderfully creative but I might have a go - I'll prob get around to it at end of summer, I'm not well known for my speedy decisions. For instance when we decorate, by the time I've chosen the colour, it's already been on the market a few years and on the way out!:rotfl::rotfl:

Wow, I love that giant cupcake pan! Do you put cake mix in both parts and stick together when baked with icing etc? I'm not too good at baking so forgive my stupid question!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

I would think you probably do put
the cake mix in the both sections
looking at it they both go into the
    oven together.What an amazing
tin I really fancy one of those.
