My hair is really thick and usually looks dull and frizzy, I bought the Babyliss 230 and they are fantastic, wish I'd found them years ago.0

Another vote for GHD. I really wouldn't be without my GHDs. They are the best hair straighteners I have ever purchased. I'd never buy any other brand again. Well worth the money IMO.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

There is no better straightener than a pair of GHDs, be it for females or males.I'm the only gay in this forum

Jolie ones off ebay, they are the same as GHD and as good, they are made by the same people who make ghds with the same spec but without the name and cost me £14.99 including p&p. Ive had ghd before and these are as good if not better, I highly recommend them.0

If I'm not too late......Remington wet to Straight, best i've ever had and my hair is long thick and curly. the straight style lasts for as long as you need it to. (between washes) I also find they don't dry my hair out like others i've tried and makes it feel soft and silky.
They are BRILL...................

Personally I will not buy another pair of GHDs. The company has been taken over buy Jamelia and now there customer service is appalling.
Mark 3 GHDs have a major fault, the wires snap and spraks fly out of them. Jamelia won't admit there is a problem and if you send them your pair to be fixed they will say they can't be repaired and will offer you 25% off RRP on a new set - you can get them cheaper online - and they want £10 to send your broken ones back).
My GHDs were about 14 months old when they broke, and had cost me almost £100. The customer services told me that they were out of warranty and tough luck - not interested.
GHDs are good, but many hairdressers use kodo, which are half the price and as good. I like my new babybliss pro 230 they are at least as good as GHDs.
The problem is your girlfriend is likely to be disappointed with anything other that ghds if she, like many others think they are the best.
Get her them for valentines day - (two birds, one stone)0 -

Thats good cos i had my haircut this week, went from long to a graduated bob, didnt even give straightening a second thought...
Ive got the wide ghd's and unfortunatly they dont work on my short bits at the back of my hair... so i ordered the babyliss pro 230 ( in bronze ) from gordons chemist, for £39.99 , in boots they are £75.
They have got great reviews and alot off ppl have said they are just as good as ghd's.. and they are less than half the price.
I still love my ghd's but i couldnt justify spending that amount off money to get a second pair just to do the back of my hair.
They are arriving tommorow, so i shall report back!:j Baby due 8th march:j:cool: Little girl born on the 8th of march0 -

they heat up to 230c really quick (under a minute) and keep my otherwise unruly hair straight all day!Wins since June: iPod shuffle 1gb, Samsung g800, cinema ticket, lush retro giftbox, 2x mp3 downloads, a big box of food (???)0
