    Sorry to be folowing the crowd but GHD's are the mutts nuts! My friend did have Kodo's and they were really good as well, my hairdresser uses kodo's as well. could you ring the hairdressers where your girlfriend goes to get her hair done and ask which brand they use and where you can buy them? I know some are trade only brands but they may be able to help.

    My daughter has had a number of pairs of them and she swears by GHD. She has the ones with the larger plate, she says that it lasts longer than a day, which she likes as she used to have to do her hair every single day.

    i can highly recommend kodo too my dd has had a pair for 6 years and are still fabulous!!

    A girl needs her GHD,s.They are another dimension for straightening and shine.ps Their are a lot of fakes on ebay so check the feedback and go to a regular seller.
    If you look hard enough you can buy mark 3 for a buy it now of £60.
