Did anybody else win Adidas trainers from the Lucozade text in comp??

I 'won' a pair from this comp - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=562982&highlight=edge+adidas last year on the 15th October.
I received a phone call a couple of days later asking what size I wanted.
Nothing since.

I emailed them on 22nd December as I thought they had had enough time to send them and I was worried that maybe they had been lost in the post:
Hi, I entered a text in competition with yourselves on the 15th October, I had a reply to say I had won a pair of adidas trainers, a few days later I received a phone call asking what size I would like. However I have not heard anything since. Could you please let me know when to expect them? Regards

They replied on the 2nd January -
Thank you for your e-mail. I have contacted the relevant department who ran this competiotion and once we hear back from them we will be in touch. In the meantime if you should wish to contact us please quote the above reference number.

They never got back in touch so on the 19th January I emailed to see if they had heard from them, but I got no reply.

Did anyone else win this comp? And if so did they actually receive anything or is this some sort of scam??

I really need new trainers - mine cut my heel when I walk - and don't have the money so I am really desperate for these to come so I can sell them and get some ladies Adidas trainers I am eyeing up!! lol

Try emailing the site again, but if you can find a contacts page find another person to email ~ the editor (just realised it wasn't a Magazine), try putting "can you please advise along with the reference number" in the title. I have had the situation where someone has left, so email didn't reach the company. Put in your email that you need the trainers as you have on here.

Just been onto their site, have you been on the Your view bit, and there is a "contact us" section on there. Sorry if you've already done that.
There is an address to contact if you absolutely don't get any joy, and I am sure someone will be along shortly to tell you what it is

Yes keep emailing! I only just got my prize of Kelly Brook perfume which I won on 16th of October the other day after LOADS of emails enquiring where it is. You have to persist and they give in eventually
Oh and the Kelly Brook perfume bottle was faulty and it leaked to EMPTY the first day I had it! Emailed the company to complain but not been replied to yet
Keep on at the people and sure they will sort it out eventually, good luck. xx

I won a couple of pairs and recieved them all within 6 weeks

Me too! lol. Going through plasters fast as I don't know what!! The ones I won are mens though so even once I get them I have to sell them to get the money for new ones!! lol

Well done Dawnylou. If they are stubborn and don't reply, I'm sure somewhere on the I Won I Won section a MSE'er suggested contacting the competition watchdog [sorry, can't recall the name of the organisation/department] however, if you have a look through the posts you should be able to find it.
