My new pay a debt off before June 16th challange

It's my last night tonight-thank goodness for that-I felt very down today but think it was just tiredness. I think I felt a bit depressed because I put my Coast dress on Ebay and it is the last of my nice dresses that i've got-I've ebayed everything else and it means i have very few clothes! Oh well-I don't go out to many places where you wear a dress anymore anyway! I was given some money for my bday in January and instead of putting it on my debt i have naughtily put it in a saving account so that I have a little bit of money for clothes if I every feel really down (like now.. no i'm going to save it for some new spring fashion me thinks!) I was getting really angry thinking why me-why do I have to slog all hours and work nights when other people do s*d all and get to live in luxury! I feel sometimes that my husband looks at me and thinks that I am dowdy and frumpy-he always asks me why I have to wear Primark clothes and can't I make a bit more effort but he doesn't seem to understand that I am desparate to get rid of my debt. Oh enough of my whinging anyway-I'm sure I will feel a lot better when this last night is done. I am actually going to have my hair done tomorrow (have budgeted for this) so will have lovely hair for our Valentines meal tomorrow. I did spend 40p on a chocolate bar tonight-I have been really good on a carb free, sugar free diet but had a desparate craving tonight! I put my dress on ebay with a minimum bid of £40 as it cost me £160 before christmas but some cheeky so and so contacted me to say could they buy it now for £30-I replied 'No, if I can't get the minimum £40 then I will carry on wearing myself-perhaps I could wear it to work or something as that seems to be my social life at the moment! I'm off work until Sunday afternoon now (extra shift) so will be nice to have a bit of a breather with my family. Good news today-I got a free Jennifer Ellison West end workout dvd through the post today that I sent off for through the news of the World so will do that tomorrow. Please follow the EXACT instructions and you will be rewarded. I found this on a bulletin board and decided to try it: A little while back, I was browsing through news groups and e-mails just like you are now, and came across an article similar to this that said you can make thousand of dollars within weeks with only an initial investment of $6.00. So I thought, "yeah right, this must be a scam," but like most of us, I was curious, so I kept reading. Anyway, it said that you send $1.00 to each of the six names and addresses stated in the article. You then place your own name and address on the bottom of the list and post the article in at least 200 news groups (there are thousands). No catch, that was it. So after thinking it over, and talking to a few people first, I thought about trying it. I figured, "What have I got to lose; except six stamps and $6.00 right, right?" Then I invested the measly $6.00.
WELL GUESS WHAT?........Within seven days, I started getting money in the mail I was in awe. I figured it would end soon, but the money just kept coming in. In my first week I made about $31.00. By the end of the second week I had made a total of more than five hundred dollars. In the third week I had considerably more than the previous week, nearly two thousand, and it is still growing! This is my fourth week and I have made a few thousand more and it is still coming rapidly. It is certainly worth the six-dollar investment and six stamps, believe it or not I have spent more on lottery with no returns. Let me explain how this works and most important, why it works.....Also, make sure you print this article out NOW, so you can get the information.
STOP NOW: Print this article out so you can get the information you need off of it. I promise you that if you follow the directions exactly you will start making more money than you thought possible by doing something so easy. Suggestion: Read this entire message carefully, and follow the simple directions and watch the money come in. It is easy, It is legal, and your investment is only $6.00 plus postage. Important: This is not a rip-off, it is decent, it is legal; and it virtually without risk it really works! If all of the following instructions are adhered to, you will receive extraordinary dividends.
PLEASE NOTE: Please follow the directions EXACTLY, and 50-thousand-dollars or more can be yours in 20 to 60 days. This program remains successful because of the honesty and integrity of the participants. Please continue its success by carefully adhering to the instructions. You will now become a part of the Mail Order business. You are in the business of developing Mailing Lists. Many large corporations are happy to pay big bucks for quality lists. However, this money made from the mailing lists is secondary to income that is made from people like you and me asking to be included on that list.
Here Are The Four Easy Steps To Success:
Get six (6) separate pieces of paper and write the following on each piece of paper. "PLEASE PUT ME ON YOUR MAILING LIST." Now get six (6) U.S. 1.00 bills and place one (1) inside of each of the six pieces of paper so the bill will not be seen through the envelope (to prevent thievery). Next, place one paper in each of the six envelopes and seal them with the dollar bill enclosed. You now should have six sealed envelopes each with a piece of paper stating the above phrase with your name and address written thereon [don't forget to enclose the $1.00]. What you are doing is creating a service THIS IS ABSOLUTELY LEGAL! You are requesting a legitimate service and you are paying for it. Clearly, I was a little skeptical and a little worried about the legal aspects of it all. Therefore, I checked it out with the U.S. Postal Service (1-800-275-8777) and they confirmed that it is indeed legal.
Mail the six envelopes to the following addresses:
[1] Joy Moore
400 S Kingsley Drive
Los Angeles, CA 90020-3224
[2] Hussain
103 Village Drive
Avenel, NJ 07001, USA
[3] Ryan Levine
4342 Reyes Drive
Tarzana, Ca 91356
[4] Brad Wilson
920 Cambridge
SE, MI 49506
[5] Frederic Desjardins,
#201-504 Alexander St.
Vancouver, BC, V6A 1C7, Canada
[6] Wally Ladd
3925 Azalea
Pueblo, Co. 81005
Now take the #1 name off the list that you see above, move the other names up (six becomes 5, and 5 becomes 4, and etc.) and add YOUR NAME as number 6 on the list.
Change anything you need to but try to keep this article as close to the original as possible. Now post your amended article to at least 200 news groups. (I think there are close to 24,000 groups). All you need is 200, but remember, the more you post, the more money you make! This is perfectly legal. If you have any doubts, refer to Title 18 Section 1302 & 1341 of the Postal Lottery Laws. Keep a copy of these directions for yourself and whenever you need money you can reuse it again.
Please Remember: That this program remains successful because of the honesty and integrity of the participants and by their carefully adhering to directions. Look at it this way, if you are of integrity, the program will continue and the money that so many others have received will come your way.
NOTE: You may want to retain every name and address sent to you, either on a computer or hard copy and keep the notes people send you. This VERIFIES that you are truly providing a service. Also, it is a good practice to wrap the $1.00 bill in dark paper to avoid the risk of mail theft. So, as each post is downloaded and the directions carefully followed, all members will be reimbursed for their participation as a List Developer with one dollar each. Your name will be moved up the list geometrically so that when your name reaches the #1 position you will be receiving Thousand of Dollars in Cash! What an opportunity for only six-dollars ($6) one-dollar ($!) for each of the six people listed above. Send it now, add your own name to the list and you are in business.

Can I join you to BeckSeven,
I have a credit card of £4000  . The debt calculator says that it will be December 2008 before I pay it off, if I carry on with my usualy Payments
So, I have just gotten three jobs that I can fit around the kids (evenings & outwork) these should bring in about £450 per month. I also plan to Ebay & Amazon off anything that sits still too long. All this extra money will be put to paying off the card and I plan to do this all by the end of June :T
Thanks for the inspiration :T0 -
Hello! I'm glad i'm inspiring someone Steph so I will be delighted to have someone else joining me in my debt quest! I haven't posted for a while as I've not been at work and find it hard to get on my laptop with my DS around as he is two and likes hitting the buttons at crucial moments ! I've not had a bad few days-sold a dress on ebay for £50 so just waiting to see tomorrow how much I can pay off my debt at the end of this pay cycle-hoping for about £200 this month and hopefully more next month. have just paid off £40 off my halifax card today-shouldn't be as much but stupid Tesco pet insurance still haven't paid me my pet insurance claim of about £600 so the money is sitting on my credit card. V annoying-rang them today and the girl on the other end got stressy at me-the cheek of me chasing money I'm owed. I'm sure if it was the other way round they'd be on the phone all the time!HSBC Visa-High interest-£2349.23 Nat West £2605.18

Good luck gelbean with £300 a month-have you tried mystery shopping? You are doing well though-it's definitely coming down so all good. Good to hear that Tescos do finally pay up-I'm going to hassle them every day now until I get the cheque. I paid £170 off my debt today which I was really chuffed with which brought it down from £1353 to £1183-I should have some shift money coming my way this month so am going to try and save as much as possible again this month and post every day to keep myself motivated. It's my son's birthday on Saturday so obviously I'm going to be having a little party for him so a bit more expenditure than normal but have got my ebay money coming too so hopefully that will cover it.HSBC Visa-High interest-£2349.23 Nat West £2605.18

I've been in a bit of a panic the past couple of days because it is my son's 2nd birthday tomorrow (can't imagine life without him now-seems like we've had him forever) and I had a bit of extra expenditure-nothing silly but we're having a little party for him and a few of his little pals and family so I had to do a bit of an extra shop for balloons, party food etc. It was really panicking me so today I sat down and worked it out and I'm going to be fine-possibly not much going from the debt this month but definitly going in the right direction. Might do a bit of ebaying to see if I can get a bit more cash to chuck at the debt. i'm working this evening so earning some lovely shift allowance too. Still no Tesco cheque though-will chase them up. Got a tesco voucher though today and am going to use it for a day out to Exmoor Zoo when we go on our sun deal holiday at the end of march. Worked out a day out will only cost us £7.50 so bargain. New aim is going to be to collect as many clubcard points as I can so I can use them for family day's out.HSBC Visa-High interest-£2349.23 Nat West £2605.18

When our two were younger we had some great sun holidays. The day out vouchers are a great idea, also when you get wherever you are going go into tourist information and look for their leaflets that offer money off or two for one entrance and a lot of great museums are free.My finances are work in progress.Normal veiwing will resume shortly0

This is a great challenge! I have a Halifax card with a balance of £800 (the lowest balance of my last 3 cards - the other two being £1900 and £2200) and I want rid of the Halifax one. I'm sure if I really set my mind to it, I could get rid of it in a few months with some hard work and Ebaying! The balance of that card was £12K at one point, so finally getting rid of that particular debt means quite a bit to me.
So, put me down for:
Lose one Halifax debt by June!Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
I love the Sun holidays-they are such a brilliant deal and before I woke up and really got into moneysaving I would have not dreamt about saving up my vouchers etc. However, i went on one to Ruda in Croyde in October and was so so impressed so we're going again in March. I had to laugh the other day-I was saying to my friend and her partner about it and my friend's partner was finding it quite amusing for some reason (he's a nice guy but they appear to be quite wealthy so dont' really understand not being able to afford somethings) and he said to me 'Well you don't really save much do you because I bet you end up spending about £400 or £500 in that time. I was like-we're going for four nights! and he said 'Yes but you'll be having meals out won't you?' I had to chuckle because when we went before the most 'meal out' thing we did was get some chips from the camp chip shop one night-the other three I cooked and we had a lovely relaxing time and probably ate better than you would going for a meal out. Also when you have a two year old having a meal out is more of an ordeal than a pleasure! It was my little boy's birthday party yesterday and we had such a lovely day and so did he. He played all day and it was lovely having people round. He went to bed exhausted and slept in until 8.45 this morning-what a luxury-I couldn't believe it when I saw the time! We took him to a children's farm today and my husband was mortified because it said under twos were free so I just said two adults-well it's only a day out isn't it! He was like 'I can't believe you did that-the woman was staring at Ben because she knew he was older! Ooh I feel all dishonest and naughty now...Anyway, we brought our own lunch as well so that we didn't pay £4.95 for a jacket spud as we have done before pre-lbm! I'm at work now earning some more moolah but will be off all week with my little boy so looking forward to that. Hopefully my tesco cheque will come this week. Bathgatebuyer I'm really impressed with your success with the debts you've got rid of-you will definitly get rid of that pesky debt by June. I'm very jealous of your £4k holiday win as well-absolutely amazing stuffHSBC Visa-High interest-£2349.23 Nat West £2605.18
