8p for 100g flour
17p for 1/2 pint milk
11p for free-range egg
=36p for around 8-10 pancakes.
Where do you get free range eggs for 11p each? Minimum round here is over £1 for 6 "medium" (small  ) ones.
I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

Ah, thanks. We'd never get through 18 within their use-by date, as there are only two of us. That's why mine seem to cost so much I suppose, because I generally just buy 6's. Although I did get 12 for £1.94 (large ones) on offer at Sainsbury's last weekend, but it's going to be a challenge to use them up in time!
