I have just come back from ASDA Longwell Green Bristol and they are offering two Shake to Make Pancakes by Better Crocker for 1 pound. They are 1.29 if you buy one????
However on the top is a coupon to get 30p off next purchase. I took both off and handed them in at the till and therefore 2 x pancake mix for 40p.
They had two varieties the traditional pancake mix and the American pancake.
I am useless at cooking pancakes so I am hoping that these will be a success they are in a white plastic bottle.
Hope this helps someone and that I have not duplicated a post!:j

I bought those too but didn't have the balls to use the voucher from the cartons I was buying

lol, beat me to posting it, as i've just come in after doing the same thing.
I used the self-scan till with both vouchers, and like you say ended up paying 40p for 2.
I also picked up 2 x 200ml jars of nutella for £1.....lovely.0 -
just bought 4 of these and used the
money off coupons 80p
thanks for letting us know about this:j:j:j0 -
They are easy to use and taste great too. I had some the other day and meant to post the bargain but forgot. Also included in the offer is Jif Lemon juice & Treats Sauces different flavours so 50p per item. I never thought to whip off the vouchers to use at the till and I went back and bought another 6 of them - doh!!!0

This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. Didn't know anyone was stupid enough to not be able to make a pancake. bloody hell0

Charming kinda person you are eh?
Thanks OP - whilst I can make my own pancakes, I'm sure there are plenty of non-stupid people out there who can't and will appreciate the offer.
What's that sentence used on here? Oh yes I recall, 'Please Be Nice To All Moneysavers'....0 -
Calm down Snkz!
I find pancakes a doddle, some plain flous, an egg and a dash of milk, i never measure anything yet they turn out fab, whether im making american style or our favourite thin ones. Saying that i have a keen intesest in cooking and for people not so interested/ who dont have the time, this would be a fab idea! Plus the price is great, Thanks banana1975 i may pick some up as at this price this mix is a steal!
Snkz Maybe not everyone is gifted like you in the kitchen so on that note may i suggest you quit calling our fellow Mse'rs stupid and keep your 'bloody' and your 'hell' to yourself, this is a friendly forum, so lets keep it that way!

Gosh some people are rude.
The only reasons I posted was to help people out not be insulted.
I can also make pancakes but as a Mum of 3 sometimes it is easier to "cheat" than make my own! And I think that 40p for the mixture is cheap.
Hope I helped someone today.0 -
these will be ideal to take away
on a self catering holiday or like
us in our little touring caravan
or for anyone on a camping trip,
when the weathers warmer.
couldent be simpler just add
water and shake the bottle.
of course we will be using these
on pancake day as well.:j:j:j0 -
This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. Didn't know anyone was stupid enough to not be able to make a pancake. bloody hell
just to point out
1. I hear by do fess up to being a rubbish pancake maker
2. 40p for two of the bottles works out @ 2.5p per pancake
3. no washing up apart from the plate and fork or/and knive it is served with the pan used and a spatula beats cleaning a mucky bowl out for 40p
4. I, holding down a fairly responsible job herby declare that I am officially stupid see point 1..... didn't realise the ability to make great pancakes would lead to a degree in being clever

and my last point is
5. good spot op and no need to be so rude, it was a genuine grabbit now not a "please come and tell me how great you are at making pancakes post"
now SNKZ please do tell me what other great attibutes you have to offer...... all ears...
oh and by the way in my Asda the offer has ended now so very pleased to have been able to get some the other day many thanks x2007 £1749
2008 £291.99
2009 JanMasscara £7.00 Feb megcabot books x 2 £20 XFactor tkts x 2 £58.00 (couldn't go though as they only phoned on day :-( ) foundation £7.99
total so far for 09 £92.990
