In addition, my DD6 and OH don't even like the bl00dy things so I have to make them just for myself! :rotfl:0

But (and correct me if I'm wrong) You can't buy these ingredients separately, so for example, if you bought a 500g bag of flour at say 40p but only used 100g of it for pancake making, and didn't eat eggs normally (which you obviously can't buy singly) then overall the cost of buying these things would be a waste, thus making the Betty Crocker ones better value!
Phew, what a daft debate eh?! :rotfl:
Ermm...yes this would be for the normally egg-eating people.0 -

I also struggle with a soft boiled egg much to my 8 year olds amazement. He asks why do they come out different every time!!!
For those that have bought the pancakes I hope you enjoy them

The only reasons I posted was to help people out not be insulted.
I can also make pancakes but as a Mum of 3 sometimes it is easier to "cheat" than make my own! And I think that 40p for the mixture is cheap.
Hope I helped someone today.
I also can, and do make pancakes the traditional way for the rest of the family but as I'm allergic to fresh eggs using a mix (and the other packet ones are all ones that need eggs added) is the only way I can eat them.0 -
Its the 2 smaller jars for £1 or large jar for £1. I think 2 small jars is better value if I remember.does anyone know please if the nutella 2 for £1 is still on. my mum tried last night and the woman said it isnt and hasnt been on offer, its just a £1 each. i know it was on offer but i love an hour from an asda so rely on good ole mum . many thanks to anyone who can help
The small jars are like a glass with a push on lid not a screw top jar.
