TBF, the OP only opened the thread a couple of hours ago.
Not everybody can afford to spend every minute of every day MSE'ing it!
edit: but in any case - yes its a lovely house, and if commutable to London it would probably sell but its not and the rooms are smaaaalll![FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Rise like Lions after slumber

Maybe I am being picky here, but I have to say that its not just people who work/relocating from London that can afford £375k !!!
The house looks beautiful, and has lots of charm, and character. The garden I would have thought would be a huge selling point, as most properties we looked at when buying (price range £300k-£400k) didnt have anything anywhere near as nice as yours. People still seem to be prepared to pay for that in the area I live, and often homes that have these qualities are older and therefore semi-detached or terraced. People who are seriously looking for a character-type property expect this.
I hope you get your sale, and dont have to drop your price too much.0 -
I'd love it if it was detached. Indoor pools are better too. Lovely place tho:)An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T

I am no expert in property but have lived in many types of homes, in many locations and can only talk from experience.0 -
Were now in the "stagnation" phase of the crash. Everyone has started to realise that prices are going to drop and has put off buying until they know by how much.
The next Phase starts at the end of the month, when everyone already in a chain realises that if they wait, (especially with all the BTLers expected to TRY and sell after April 1st with the new CGT rules,) they will be able to get a better deal. And all the chains collapse.
Then, with only distressed sales taking place, prices drop and all the BTLers suddenly find out what "margin calls" are.Bankruptcy isn't the worst that can happen to you. The worst that can happen is your forced to live the rest of your life in abject poverty trying to repay the debts.0 -
There are no pictures of the bedrooms or bathroom...also the kitchen looks small...lovely garden though....can't comment on the price though.0

Just wondering  with name like "Trickster" are they for real?
With not replying and only 174 posts?
Sorry Julie if you doubted me. Bad choice of name perhaps, and wife had a spell in hospital and hadn't had a chance to get back to everyones useful comments.
Thanks to everyone who have given me pause for thought. I would like to think that our house had a bit more going for it than the average near us. Most houses round here don't have their own parking/garage (which is a major problem for some)/private garden with swimming pool and the the examples shown by others have their own problems (trust me, we have looked!).
We have small children, and the pool is fenced off. We have nearly an acre, so it isn't a problem to have a section purely for kids.
Anyway. Thanks again to the lot of you.0 -
200k overpriced.0

Lovely house but it looks overpriced and I definitely don`t like the swimming pool. The pool would put me off viewing.0

I hear Estate Agents are now privately saying many sellers are not yet willing to adjust to the new reality of what property is actually worth.
Nice house, but it's over-priced, as most houses on the market still are - roll on 2008.0
