Ceanothus is one of my very favourite plants Wol!!! If Lidl isn't too far away then yes please!! I have a shop to do at Lidl's in WGC soon (which is about 30mins away) but don't know when I'll get there. Also if you're nearby on Monday pm then the kettle will be on :D;);)

Dear mot - Have taken liberty of alerting wol and rog to phoenixchick's thread.(In fact, wrote to wol that I love ceanothus, too!)
This is the Thread(entitled In For The Long Haul), if anyone wishes to take a look:

What goes with the weather forecasts lately? -even for this country?
It's sunny, breezy here, but Monsieur M!t!o(albeit the delicious voice of Daniel Corbett) said 'turning very cold, with sleety showers and snow - could fall anywhere - plummeting temperatures and that's the outlook for the next few days'.

Deleted other post, mot - seemed bleaty.

Phew! Well, after 5 days of reading, I've now read all three big threads - Eviction Notice Served, Dbc1 - MOT0 and now this one. It's like I've been reading a novel and SUCH a happy ending! I'm so so so happy for you MOT - you are, truly,an amazing woman and have dealt with all this so well despite so many knockbacks that nobody would ever deserve. I hope you've had a lovely weekend unpacking in your new home and making it your own. I bet the twins are loving having their own space again.

I too suffer from depression and know just how difficult it can be to do even the "simplest" of things day to day - so the fact you've dealt with all this whilst suffering from such a debilitating illness? Words fail me. You, IT and the twins are all total stars.
I'm a lurker rather than a poster on this board (never stray from dfw, far too scary!) but felt compelled to write something on your thread. Also, Ampersand, Pania, Floss2, SaffronFlowers, Wol2, and so many many others - you've been amazing. Simply incredible.
Right, off to bed for me ... why do Mondays come round so quickly?

I think MOT is an amazing woman; where does she get her inner strength? Well, the new home is better than she could ever have wished for; the perfect place for her and the twins to make their nest. She has climbed a mountain and the view from the top is wonderful!:smileyhea

Now for someone (me) who hates DIY and has five thumbs on each hand when it comes to drilling, assembling, sawing, etc., I have done more of that stuff in the last few days than I've tackled in the last few years! But all in a good cause for a wonderful lady.

On the car question (see earlier re bankruptcy) a thought occured to me; would it be workable if MOT's car was owned by someone else and on permanent loan to her?

Can't wait for BBQ weather! icon10.gif
