How are you doing today? Hope you're still well - everything is SO positive this weekend - such a difference from last weekend.

However lovely the house sounds, I think you're very brave. Why? I've just realised where it must be - all the clues about the big hill - so that means driving round that flipping magic roundabout all the time I expect! I've got friends who live in Bovingdon and I have often tried to drive all through the back of HH to avoid the roundabout! See what I mean, you're a brave lady on so many levels!!

Hope you have a good day today
Yes, the Magic roundabout can be a nightmare! Have already sussed out the back way to twins school which is an absolute must for in the mornings!!

What was the planner on when he designed that  , do you think he did it for a bet :p . I remember shreiking with terror 1st time I saw it :o . However, now I'm fine as long as it's busy, but when the place is empty it still looks real weird  . How could they build a roundabout that looks like spare parts for a Flymo???????

Have a good day MOT x
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Hi CK, thanks for the results I-T won't be happy that Italy lost:confused: !

I go through different phases of feelings quite quickly at the moment - sometimes I am feeling very positive and excited about the new house, then panic sets in as to what happens if LL changes his mind? Then the feelings of the past few years (particularly the last few months) come back and hit me and I will start crying - the other morning when I was coming back from taking twins to school I just started to sob my heart out (whilst driving!) nothing had triggered it and I wasn't feeling particularly low - so I guess you could say that I am still very much up and down  Still haven't heard from the Community Mental Health Team yet either.

    Morning MOT

Been quiet lately as helping ladylove - will hope she will be able to post on her situation early next week. However I have been checking in each day and saw your post.

Please don;t worry too much..about the way you're feelings/mood is changing at the moment. You have a lot to deal with and you will start to feel better once you know for sure you have permanent roof over your head. ..The crying is natural...a good way of letting out some of those feelings of frustration, hurt, worry that you have been going through and it could also be with relief that things are starting to move forwards. And sometimes it can happen without you being aware of what prompted it....normally a thought, an event, something you see or hear that reminds you of something associated with unpleasant or unhappy feelings.

Be gentle and patient with yourself...and focus on moving forwards as much as you can....and gradually over time you will find that the crying gets less, the bad thoughts get less and the happy ones will take over and your mood will settle down..

And sometimes, if you might be crying because you've been "beating yourself up" and thinking badly about yourself (and this can happen from time to time ...I did this to myself last week and had a "blip")....... well that's normal at the moment too... although hopefully you will in future work towards a way of being less hard on yourself as you will feel much better for it. So remember to give yourself a big hug, positive thoughts and lots of love ...and secondly remember that we are all here giving you big hugs as well and we say you are a lovely special person, you deserve to be happy, no-one here is making any judgement about you as a person and please dont think badly or blame yourself....we don;t!!

We're all still here with you.....with fingers crossed for a move date and the virtual housewarming!!

    Much love

I met the daughter of one of the designers of the magic roundabout at uni 10 years back. He always said it was because the team kept leaving their mugs on the drawing and marking it with rings.......

I *think* he was joking :D

Hi MOT, I'm so pleased about the house, have a feeling you're trying not to believe its actually going to be home untill you get the keys and I don't blame you, you've had enough ups and downs to last you a few years.

Take it one day at a time m'dear, and please look after yourself - that is - don't expect too much of yourself too soon. Take good care,
