Want a spam/!!!!!!/smut free email account for my daughter!

I've got a gmail account I use soley for emails and I've never had any spam on it. However, the one I use for freebies gets loads, including get a bigger organ (no thank you, the piano suits me fine), my long lost Nigerian relative has left me millions, lovely girls want to meet me and I must be the luckiest person in the world as I seem to win every lottery going. :rotfl: It all just goes into the spam folder.

I never get spam on my Yahoo email account - but I get on average 200 messages weekly ranging from how to enlarge various appendages to 'banking notices' on my other accounts.
I've given my email address for all my online purchases, so I was expecting lots of junk, but so far, not a one. I've had my account for 3-4 years now.

I have been wondering the same thing and it REALLY annoys me that this is even a consideration. I recommend Gmail too. I haven't had ANY spam since I got it. I agree with bandraoi too.

my children have gmail and they never get any however i also have gmail and use it or competitions and online forms and i get alot but it is all directed into the spam folder and doesnt appear in my inbox ever so doesnt really bother me

In the many years I've had my hotmail account, I have never had a spam message so I would have said that it's ok to use for your daughter. Like the others say, it's not the provider that enables you to get spammed, it's down to the person putting their email address in places online.

i too can recommend gmail, i've used it for around a year and have never had any spam

What she said! My hotmail is terrible! Even my Mum (who doesn't surf or use the internet) gets seriously dodgy spam through Hotmail!

I love Gmail!! There are adverts on the screen but they relate to whatever you're talking about by email. So if she's talking about school there will be homework help sites etc.

I think it depends on what you sign up for on your accounts. Gmail is the best for spam filters, though. It moves everything to the spam filter, but I'm sure you can set the worst spam to delete automatically.
