Can you top up mobile phones in small local Boots, or is it just larger stores.

It doesn't always mean it won't go through!

Ha ha! Yes, I'm quickly learning who are the lovely SA's in my nearest Boots, there are two who actually point out the offers and glitches. Here's to the Boots Angels :A

  • Aww, the Mediterranean cosmetic purse I ordered early yesterday morning has been cancelled. :( It's annoying because I spent two hours trying to persuade the damn website to let me at my basket. Still, it was the thing I wanted least in my order so as long as the other stuff arrives, I'll be pleased. Fingers crossed there's no further cancellations... If you ordered the Mediterranean purse yesterday, check your emails.

I have had to slap my hand for the past weeks to stop reaching for the mouse to post this message. But I have decided to go ahead and post as I feel it is necessary..

There appears to be a growing trend to 'knock' people who sell on ebay. Even posting links to individual items and criticizing sellers.
    It's nothing more than jealousy.

Be it jealousy that someone beat them to the item in the shop or online, or that someone bought 500 rather than 1 of an item.

I was annoyed that so many of the men's toiletry boxsets went in the 50% sale. Fact is, if I'd have been at the shop for 10am on Boxing Day, I'd have cleaned up along with the other early-birds.

I was annoyed that some bi-atch cleaned Bham High St out on the 15th. Fact is that if I'd have been there early with a spare £500 in me pocket, I'd have been able to do the same.

I've got mates who sell a shedload of stuff on ebay, and by all accounts they spend ages buying the stuff, listing the stuff, packing it up and sending it out. They make some money, but they put the work in.

  • Heads up on what happened to me...

I bought X amount of things on boots dot com, and they arrived way to late to give as presents, so i tried to take the items with despatch notice to the local store in Radcliffe, and they said NO we cannot take them back, you have to send them back to the boots dot com, so i put on the returns sticker to the box, and went to the post office, and i thought in hindsight to add the recorded delivery of 70p, just incase, even though the returns was free postage.

RM lost the parcel, or the postman claimed it, it was a value of £45 it had angel gift set in it too.

So i have tried now for 3 weeks with RM and they have no record it was delivered, i called Boots up, number on back of card, and they said the treatment i got from Radcliffe was bad news, i am sure heads will roll, as the chap reinbursed the items on my card.

So somewhere out there, there is a parcel with christmas presents and angel gift set, and someone is enjoying them!

So although Boots can be a pain, they do do good intentions too.

I checked RM and the parcel is still missing.

(not sure where i was to add this, just wanted to tell someone) x

Hi All - absolutely nothing but wrapping paper left in the large Middlesbrough store. For anyone who got the last Max Factor GWP with the £3 worth of points coupons - please note - it expires tomorrow. I went into day and bought a foundation and eye pencil so I could use my voucher up and get the GWP. The GWP is in a really nice box and better still - another £3 points voucher, this time for any Lipfinity Colour & Gloss.:T
