Does anyone know if you can spend this voucher on the new mens skincare range??

I hope so, as fella would like to start using them - and i can get them him for Valentines Day and pretend i bought them and look extra generous this year ha ha

Yes you can. I think it was launched today to coincide with the new mens range in store. Pity there is no 342 though.;)

  • Yeah pity its stopped, but the men's stuff is so cheap with the vouchers a lot of it is only a quid or two.

And there is a lovley free gift for spending £20 - can't wait to go now ha ha

Just got back from Stockton on Tees store-lots of good reductions on the clearance shelves near the main tills. Diesel Plus Plus perfume £1.50, No7 charm bracelets with lip gloss which were a GWP last year 75p, lots of odd shampoos, garnier bodytonic stuff 50p, old packaging travel accessories reduced to 10p, 20p.
WAS THIS TEESIDE PARK STORE, OR STOCKTON HIGH STREET STORE?
  • Thanks Rockyrose, I hoped there might be a "method" to this, I usually just hand over the vouchers in one go and hope for the best. :D

Thanks too for reminding me about the magazine points voucher, I'd forgotten about that.

Can anyone help, I have a voucher for £1 off WYS £5 or more on 17 cosmetics. Will I be able to get the lip palette GWP (WYS £5 on 17) or will the £1 voucher be deducted and therefore say I have only spent £4?

It says on the voucher "Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount"

I'm still learning this Bootsing mallarkey :D

I would THINK that if you let all items go through the till and then when SA tells you the total hand over the £1 off WYS voucher then it will be OK as your total for 17 will be £5.

Don't hand voucher over too early incase SA scans it before the GWP.It might work that way too but its usually safer to get all items scanned before showing vouchers.

Its worth doing it this way when buying No7 to get the highlighter too,let it all go through till before producing vouchers.

    Has 342 finished on No7?

"Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount" actually means cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount unless attempted by a Bootser at a till manned with a lovely SA"

It doesn't always mean it won't go through!

  • I can't remember who said that they had their "The Sanctuary Spa Mini Treats " Cancelled even though it was was on the site for hours after??

I said I would let them know what happen with mine........SNAP!! Happened to me too.

me too: i ordered 5 and left a message saying there were 6 left but all of mine got cancelled. I wonder if it's all about how quickly the packers pack.... say five of us placed the order simultaneously then is it just a question of being 'first come first served' at the warehouse?? So maybe it doesn't help if you are ordering other things as they may take priority... just a thought

I was one of these people who put a link.

I just think it's unfair that some people buy in major bulk so other's miss out...EG someone selling 5 ELC dolls houses. ( I didn't even want one)

I don't object to people making a profit on Ebay, but there are some Major extreme's that do pi** me off!( as above)

I think people were annoyed with Boots more for letting this happen, rather than naming and shaming. Ok some will say they got it and it's up to them what they want to do with it, but if there was a limit this wouldn't happen.

I think Boots system needs to be re-thought, then maybe.....just maybe there wouldn't be all this hoooha?

The people who want it for their own use would be happy, as would the Ebayers. Everyone would stand a chance!

Sorry about the rant, but I feel I had to back up why I put a link

I have been thinking about this and it is a free world for people to do what they want. Lots of people trade on E-Bay as their main source of income ( myself included at the moment as I was made redundant after 7 years and have to pay my bills! ) I do however read this thread avidly and have sent Highlighter and vouchers to people who have asked me ( and sometimes not even received a stamp in return!!) so we are not all greedy. Perhaps if so many people did not spend ages on their checking stock ( i.e. there are 99 in stock!!) then everybody might get some. However if people want to buy to sell on then it is up to them.
  • Absolutely nothing left in my local store this morning, apart from a few bottles of noddy bubble bath reduced to £1; I was hoping to get some Lynx sets :( Ho-hum.

Anyhoo, am just about to place an order on-line (10 points per £ at the moment in case anyone didn't know) and have ordered over £11 worth of the "200 points for spending £10 on qualifying toiletries" and my 200 points isn't showing in my basket - anyone else had this? I've checked and checked again that all the items are from the qualifying range and it's definitely over £10.00 :(

On the subject of .com, anyone else fed up of chosing "show in stock items only" on the sales page, only to be greeted with page after page of "out of stock" and "sold out"? Grrrrrrr.

    Update:

Rang CS and the jolly nice chap agreed that I should have the extra 200 points so added them manually :)

Used an extra 500 points code, got the 200 extra for selected toiletries and 395 for the shop itself = 1195 points, not bad for a £40.13 shop, which included Olay Definity Serum with free gift (which I nearly bought in town this morning; glad I didn't, there were no free gifts there!) :)
