Me too . Only good thing was that they didn't deduct the extra points (500) for a £50 spend.

Just got back from Stockton on Tees store-lots of good reductions on the clearance shelves near the main tills. Diesel Plus Plus perfume £1.50, No7 charm bracelets with lip gloss which were a GWP last year 75p, lots of odd shampoos, garnier bodytonic stuff 50p, old packaging travel accessories reduced to 10p, 20p.

Overheard a supervisor explaining to a new SA today

"The plans change on a Wednesday. When there is a sale (they were putting the 90% off signs up), the tills change the day before. This is to allow stores to amend the signs and prepare stock the day before - so if a sign IS up for 90% - the tills will honour this on the Tuesday."

This should mean that all 50%, 75% and 90% off sales will always be on a Tuesday. I know there was speculation around the 75% off as to whether it would be on the Monday or the Tuesday!

Same here. I got the 500extra + 200extra for everyday things.
In the end my total was £14.00 but I got over 700 points. I guess I can't grumble to much, but I would have liked one of the set's for ME, as everything else I have got in the sale is for presents.

I'll just have to buy myself something nice with the points:T

I had ordered on 25th at about 4.45pm and it was for the creative MP3 player, I have sent them a large complaints letter and also spoke to someone on the phone (gave 500 points) which is nowhere in compensation for them sitting on my order for 5 days and 1 day before it was supposed to have been delivered!! I am furious about this as this is not the first time I have had serious problems with boots.

Can anyone help, I have a voucher for £1 off WYS £5 or more on 17 cosmetics. Will I be able to get the lip palette GWP (WYS £5 on 17) or will the £1 voucher be deducted and therefore say I have only spent £4?

It says on the voucher "Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount"

1. hand over goods including gwp till will show total and allow gwp as youve spent£5

2. Handover 100pts voucher from instore mag for 17 £5 spend

3. last handover £1 off voucher and till should le you have it

This is how we've all normally done it and till usually lets it go through-though ive come across some bizarre till happenings lately-im doing it tommorrow as well .
