There appears to be a growing trend to 'knock' people who sell on ebay. Even posting links to individual items and criticizing sellers.
I would love loads of the things on ebay, but that's a fact of life. We cant always have what we want.
I understand need, and need in many cases is why people sell on ebay.
Maybe the nice person you have met on the Boots site is one of these sellers and is too embarrassed to say.I feel really uncomfortable with this naming and shaming.
There are loads of people on Martins site who are also sellers. Please don't knock them, because you could not get your item in the sale. Please don't make examples of them as if they are criminals. It is morally wrong. to post the links. Look at them but don't share them. We all know where ebay is, and how to search.
People sell on ebay for all kinds of reasons. Me? I sell because my mortgage was mis-sold and I stand to lose my home, , so I want to pay off my mortgage.
I am bound to upset someone, but please live and let live, and do not judge people who are selling, when you know nothing about them or their circumstances. There are buyers in this world and there are sellers. There are also buyers & Sellers. One group should not judge another.
I know this is off topic but is very much Boots related. I would hate to see this lovely thread turn into a "Lets hate people who sell on ebay thread."
Please think again before you point the finger at others, and judging people, as you dont know the full picture.. I have been as diplomatic as possible, but I hope in general people will see that what I am saying is fair.
I was one of these people who put a link.
I just think it's unfair that some people buy in major bulk so other's miss out...EG someone selling 5 ELC dolls houses. ( I didn't even want one)
I don't object to people making a profit on Ebay, but there are some Major extreme's that do pi** me off!( as above)
I think people were annoyed with Boots more for letting this happen, rather than naming and shaming. Ok some will say they got it and it's up to them what they want to do with it, but if there was a limit this wouldn't happen.
I think Boots system needs to be re-thought, then maybe.....just maybe there wouldn't be all this hoooha?
The people who want it for their own use would be happy, as would the Ebayers. Everyone would stand a chance!
Sorry about the rant, but I feel I had to back up why I put a link :rolleyes:0 -

Does anyone know if/when the fragrance gift sets will be reduced again?
I'm itching for them to reduce the Gucci II Pour Homme sets again!
I'm too mean to pay the price they're currently at!
Thanks.0 -
this may not mean a lot to anyone else, I'm only a new bootser. I got lots of things in the 50% and 75% sales.
Today though I got 4 of the TB sets with the speakers in £1.50 each and wrapping paper rolls for 30p each. Not really anything else left apart from ginger bread houses.
I'm going to just break up the sets and keep them for my son. Just buying him hairgel and deoderant separately in supermarket is just under £6. I got 4 lots for nothing as such because I used my points. WAheyyyy.
I've said it before but thanks again for all the effort you all put in, it's very appreciated and I've saved a fortune towards christmas too.0 -

No, you would get the lot for free:rotfl:
Example: high lights 10.25 (or 10.75 if you buy from a london store)
something for 9.75 = 20.00 + GWP
Then use 5.00 Parenting Coupon WYS 20.00 + new 5.00 No7 voucher + mag voucher for free high lights = absolutely free:D
help.....in simple words please
I have the £10.25 highlights voucher from the mag.
Where does the £5.00 Parenting Coupon WYS £20.00 come from?
Where does the new £5.00 No. 7 voucher come from?
Sorry if I am being thick but have probably missed the answer to this amongst the fast moving threads.
Thanks in advance for any help.:beer:0
