I've just posted this in the Hampers thread but realised it might suit this thread too so I'll c+p it here.
These kits don't seem to be selling that well as I keep seeing them all over the place, but I've just taken mine apart (grrrr at the packaging lol) and they're pretty good value at the moment... imo.
It contains two small individual puddings - expiry date April 2010, so will be ideal to use in Christmas Hampers, as a gift for a single person or couple.
There's also a miniature bottle of Three Barrels brandy - also good for the hampers. Or whatever .....lol.
The winner for me though is the flambe ladle. It comes with its own stand and is ideal for use in the kitchen next to the oven or slow cooker - even if it's just for skimming soups, stews etc. Plus it looks nice on its ownbut would be good in any food-related hamper.
I'm even keeping the packaging to store those awkward Christmas bows etc, so for £1.20 (in the 90% off sale), they're not so bad after all
As a disclaimer, I should add that I've no idea what the puddings taste like.

Hello
Just out of interest did any Leeds bootsers get any 90% off bargains? I haven't had the chance to go and I'm losing sleep over all the bargains I may have missed! :rotfl::j0 -

I'm sure there will be more, just put them in your favourite sellers, there were loads last year, (not sure if the person in question works at the printers, boots or maybe as security, personally I don't care, all I know is they saved me a fortune last year :T ) but they should put them up for sale frequently during the promotion.0 -
I must admit I thought that Boots would be issuing tillspits now after the last one to stop this sort of thing but I AM NOT COMPLAINING!!!:D:j I love bargains:jI love MSE0

All virtual baby mothers make sure if you ever need to call Adv Card about problems with points offers with Parenting club that your virtual baby has a date of birth, age to match and a name.
I called regarding a voucher I had problems with instore. The lady said ooo so your baby is 6 months old? I do have a baby and she is nearly 8 months and I said this, she then asked her DOB and her name.
They will tally the details to your registration so just thought I'd warn everyone to make sure they remember the details they gave on registration.:D
Imagine being asked and saying 'ooops I cant remember' :rotfl: :rotfl:
If you registered for PC online...then you can check (and remind yourself :rotfl: ) of the name and date of your virtual baby (babies) in the MY ACCOUNT section of Boots.com - I had to do this the other day when I had a query and they also asked me....fortunately I was online and had just clicked on that bit more by accident than design so had the answer to hand.
Note to self.....remember to book a birthday party for a one year in June:rotfl:0 -
