Thanks for letting me know. We were in the ELC the other day and she was having a play with one so should be good for her birthday in March. Just have to keep her little brother away (he's 14 months) he's going through a "Crayons are a tasty snack" phase so I'm sure he'd have to sample the chalk too, lol. Do you get a roll of paper with it? I notice the one in ELC had one.
Yes you get a roll of paper with it supplied though dd thought it would be grat fun to run to the other end of the living room with it! You also get 4 magnets to hold the paper down be careful with these as they are small and she decided to try and draw with them on the blackboard side and scratched it before shed really started playing with it! I know what you mean dd decided to give herself a chalk and water beard last night and shes 3!0 -

Sounds like this house only my 2 think unravelling toilet roll 'Andrex puppy' style is fun. Last week we also had a sudocrem incident, white floors, white walls, white chair and white DD.
Better keep this Boots related: I wonder if there's any offers on Sudocrem in-store? I should look, lol.
Back to bed for me too, night night all.:smileyhea Proud Mummy of 2 :smileyheaTotally addicted to Boots glitches & the Next sales!0 -
Appear to have missed the mens gift sets this morning which I have been after for a while for our school fair, hope they update again tomorrow. Need to get out of bed earlier i think lol.
At least I know why I have never been lucky in the Boots sales in the past, would never have logged on before tea time so no chance of any bargains by then.0 -
Morning everyone.....good luck with getting your orders in....and fingers crossed for actual delivery.
I've saved a fortune by sleeping in for over a week (normally I don't call getting up at 6:15am sleeping in...but in the Boots boosting world:rotfl: it definitely is)0 -
I usually click on brand options, all brands then quickly look for the things ive been waiting to go on.. if there there i go to them first then checkout straight away
this may help?
I tried that yesterday and today. I looked for Fur real and elc. Looked at the elc stuff then straight to all items.0 -
This is the first time ive been able to get the basket with roughly what I want without things disappearing - got to £50 and £10 code didnt work - deleted a few things and used the 500 points extra code instead. (HRTS37).
The problem is I do put stuff in the basket and then think about them later on - dont really want to spend this amount but when you get up so early every morning and come away with zilch it gets to be a challenge.
Must have Must have Must have something from the sale.
On reading the posts lots of you have vouchers /coupons all sorts of things to get a virtually free shop from Boots as im starting new its very confusing and i dont want to buy loads more stuff esp No. 7 that i dont need or can afford (work has dried up at the moment)- but would be lovely to have.
So were do I start what would be the cheapest and easiest buys for a newby
to get started on ( im green with envy when i read about peoples cuboards being full of cheap/free stuff and dont want to miss out)
Thank you for any help - i really want to join in on this one0 -
Strawberryberry, I forgot to use codes for extra points etc, I was too concerned getting checked out, but nevermind.
It's easy to get carried away spending to get free/cheap items and extra points thats what Boots want. Only buy if you can really use them.
I'm not very good with the glitches but stick on this thread and people are veery helpful, especially read the first page.
Good luck.2013

I think you will be able to buy a R&M brush, (that's what I want too), last time they did a NO7 R&M etc voucher I bought R&M brushes as they are usually classed as cosmetics. I want the foundation brush which is £11.0

Sorry I have to disagree:eek:
What the SA said is correct, it does not qualify for the GWP - however, what the till says is something completely different and this is why it's called a GLITCH!
As previous posters have said, it's best to forget it and move on to another SA another day than to kick up a stink trying to get something you're not really entitled to. It only gets the already crabby SA's backs up (present company excluded of course) and you end up alerting boots staff what we are up to and in the end no-one gets the glitch.
It's entirely up to you what you do of course but if it were me I'd keep schtum and enjoy it all the more when you do succeed in taking advantage of the glitch elsewhere - and believe me you will succeed in the end
Try doing the same thing on a weekend with SA's who are obviously saturday staff - look for a young lad and stick a few always towels or something similar in the basket, they just want to serve you and get you out of the way
Rule no1 is always - don't pay at the No7 counter.
I hope you have better luck next time!
Thats so funny buying Always towels to embarass them...... I still hate buying them now and I'm 35!!!!! I didn't even go to NO 7 counter, it was the proper till so I thought i'd get away with it. Oh well, I'll try again at weekend and this time I'll be able to us my £5.00 off voucher!!!!0 -
OH asked if I was going to Boots today. I asked why & he said ' cos the mortgage needs paying '
Does he mean dont go mad OR pay it whilst your in town? I took it as the latter which I know he meant but the former only occured to me as I was typing, LOL.
How long for PC mail stuff to arrive after joining as I've nothing yet to date.0
