Thats a really good idea thank you
    You're very welcome

Make sure you select 'in stock only' too before you add it, saves a bit of time in the early morning frenzy waiting for the update.

I dont think it matters as boots never update their pages anyway, i just had a look on and selected 'in stock only' = 89 items ...... only 2 were actually in stock! lol

Yeah I know what you mean but it helps in the morning when they do the update as they take the out of stock items off and add the new stuff.

Just had my best boots session ever! Decided to do some evening shopping in the hopes of catching some bargains. All sale stuff now gone but this is what I did get:

    Transaction 2
    No7 Mascara
    No7 Highlighter
    No7 GWP
    Total = £20.75

Paid with and in this order: 250pts £20 spend, £5 off £20 No7 Spend (PC)100pts No7 Dream Lash Mascara (both ACM), 250pts No7 product (xmas gift), Highlighter Voucher (mag), £5 off No7 Voucher (previous transaction)
    Total: 50p + 600pts.:T

Well done you. :T :T You must have had a great SA, cos I know if I tried that 2nd transaction. They would have queried it. I would love to seen SA's face. :p

Dont think I have the courage to try it.

As the title says, I'm not very happy. Just been to Boots to buy a concealer (the No7 one which is bit like the YSL one!!!) This cost £12.00 and I picked the highlighter up as well. It came to a total of £22.25 and then £10.25 was deducted for the free highlighter. The SA said that I could not have the GWP as I had only spent £12.00!!! Is that correct. Reading other posts I feel that I have been ripped off as other people got the gift!!! Is there anything I can do???????

    Jill, no its not!!!

I went to Trafford Centre Manchester this evening, and what that assisant told you is Bol, The assistant, put through the items, GWP, highlighter, Moisturiser, i gave her the voucher for the highlighter, and it cost me £13 and i got the free Pink jewellery box.

You should complain!!! i would!!! Get back to that store and show them you mean business!

Now i left this thread on page 4, i got 12 pages to read, but just wanted you to know this...

    SheaHoney

Oh and i got the £5 voucher too, with all that, and inside the box is another 2 vouchers.

    Can someone advice me please?

I am going to do a online order, only ever done one before and that was the 'Cotton bud Glitch' a long time ago!

What i would like to know is how the different codes work?

I have found a working points codes, a 10% off and a £10 off code.
Which ones will work together? or can you only use one at a time?
    Thanks

Im buying a carseat, its £54.99.

i'm pretty sure that its double points on car seats right now too

    Sorry I have to disagree:eek:

What the SA said is correct, it does not qualify for the GWP - however, what the till says is something completely different and this is why it's called a GLITCH!

As previous posters have said, it's best to forget it and move on to another SA another day than to kick up a stink trying to get something you're not really entitled to. It only gets the already crabby SA's backs up (present company excluded of course) and you end up alerting boots staff what we are up to and in the end no-one gets the glitch.

It's entirely up to you what you do of course but if it were me I'd keep schtum and enjoy it all the more when you do succeed in taking advantage of the glitch elsewhere - and believe me you will succeed in the end :D

Try doing the same thing on a weekend with SA's who are obviously saturday staff - look for a young lad and stick a few always towels or something similar in the basket, they just want to serve you and get you out of the way :p

Rule no1 is always - don't pay at the No7 counter.

I hope you have better luck next time!
