    TIA

Are the vouchers for baby stuff only?

  • Being new to bootsing one thing I've found to make it a little easier is to look on .com to see which products I can buy with my vouchers before actually going to the shops, otherwise I find it a little overwhelming trying to work out what I can buy in a busy shop, especially when a brand like l'oreal has so many different ranges. When I tried to spend my first £5 voucher it took me well over 40 mins in the shop to pick something and then when I queued up to pay it wasn't applicable!

Now I look to see what's in that price range in that brand and make a short list of what I'd actually use and then I go straight to look for them instead of wandering around looking at everything and getting totally confused,

Hope this might help someone in the same situation.

Got the voucher for £5 off and tried to use it to buy a reduced eyeshadow from ruby and millie that was £5 but the till refused it. The voucher says not to be used on reduced items so it looks like they are catching on!!! Also bought a Q10 visage night cream reduced to £1.70(the only one on the shelf) and got 400 points free!!

Did you get 400 points for buying a Q10 product?

You're never too old for a virtual baby ;) better than signing up for the over 60's club which gives you 10% off.

The PC are mostly baby ones but you do get £5 off No 7 included in the early pregnancy one if think it is.

Oh and 500points wyb Olay total. Its worth it.

    Join the Health club too.

I posted a link to an Ebay seller selling .com stuff. I won't be apologising however, if anything it gave the seller more coverage and quite possibly more customers as the people reading this thread are the people who wanted to purchase that stock! As stated anyone can search on Ebay so what difference does it make and how is it 'morally wrong'?

I think 'naming & shaming' is a bit of an exaggeration as we don't know who that seller is, all you have is an Ebay ID.

Yes I am jealous that I didn't manage to get one or two of the various items they're selling and I find it frustrating the way the Boots website works (i.e. items disappearing from the basket, orders cancelled etc).

As others have said it's up to the individual what they do with their items once they're paid for and some choose to Ebay them to make a profit, I would have even been tempted to do it myself until I read this thread. As mentioned in the previous thread I chose not to do this after reading of the disappointment of other MSEr's (without whom I wouldn't even know about the sale or what time it updated etc) when they can't get the item they've been waiting for. I thought that the point of this thread was to help each other out to save some money rather then making profit out of each other?
However this is just my opinion and way of thinking to which we are all entitled.

My reason for posting the link was simply to point it out as a reason why the stock is gone within 5 mins of the morning updates not to 'knock' or 'criticize' the sellers as such, simply to highlight it. It does frustrate me that someone got there first (as I said earlier I am a bit jealous) but I'm more frustrated at Boots then the seller as I do think that the items should be limited to each customer and they do already do this with certain items in the sale so why not all?
