Hi Passion8 - I chose the foundation to make sure my total spend was over £20 to get the GWP but she told me that since I would only be paying for the foundation (the Highlighter being free), my total spend wouldn't in fact be over £20 so no GWP. Sorry if I didn't make this clearer earlier. Such a pain as to different SAs in different stores. I daren't go anywhere near the No. 7 counter in the large Middlesbrough store - one of the dragons there would even scare the likes of Childcatcher from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang or Freddy Kruger into never daring to approach "her" stock again :o

I bought a £13 + foundation, the highlighter and got a GWP, and I dared to do it at a No 7 counter!! I paid £8 something after having the £5 voucher off, didn't get a £5 voucher back, but wasn't bothered.
  • so how does the gwp work is it offers in store or atm or is it handed to you at the till? boots is still new to me!!!!

The offer is in store and on .com. In store you get all the stuff you want totaling £20+ and there will be a display of gwp's somewhere very close by so you just pick one up. If you are ordering on .com put your stuff in the basket and it should add the gift automatically.

GWP's are usually kept right next to the stuff you have to buy to get it.

For anyone trying to get the No 7 GWP by using the high lights voucher to make another item up to, or slightly over, £20 - and to ensure the GWP goes through the till....the trick is NOT TO PRODUCE ANY VOUCHERS UNTIL AFTER THE SA HAS PUT IT ALL THROUGH THE TILL. If they think you are paying cash or switch they put it all through without questioning it.

Once that's happened it's too late for her/him to argue and you can politely ask them to try the vouchers. I always put them through in the order of £5 wys £20 (well when I had one I did), then extra points, then high lights voucher, and then £5 discount voucher. I've now got loads of GWPs this way

I got the free gwp total to pay was £5.xx but I added some toothbrushes and got another voucher.

I dont know about any other mums out there; but this is always my scenario.

Screaming baby, me trying to quickly take a highlighter and gwp and another item without the No 7 lady catching me , and me pushing screaming baby fast towards the lift to go to the baby section , getting followed by security , pay downstairs, hold my goodies proudly on the way out with receipt in one hand, and have the beady security men watching me as if Ive just stolen them. It annoys me, but sometimes I do feel like Ive just stolen from them.

PS Pinkytots - avoid the No7 SA in Broughton! I rang CS on my mobile right in front of her to complain about her once!
  • HI , thought I would come out of lurking and mention that the Wakefield store has loads of the magazines out and also has the highlighters in stock.

Yesterday I bought an instant radiance concealer £12 , a highlighter using the voucher and used a £5 off voucher and still got the GWP , even though i only actually spent £7 :D

They had a few reduced No7 items out but had put up a sign to say that you couldnt use the highlighter voucher with the reduced items & nor could the reduced items be used towards the £20 spend to get the GWP.

Thanks to everyone on here who posts the gliches & the tips :T

I looked online when I got back from the shop today and it wasn't showing. I think they must have just come into the shop today as I'm sure I would have noticed it before.

I bought it (well them, as I went back and did it all over again for my mother-in-law) as a mothers day present and somebody has said since that they think it is in the mother's day leaflet, so maybe they'll promote it more after the valentine one is over - perhaps!!

Thanks pinkytots, and to all that have explained about this gift and posted pics. (I'll retrace my steps and thank you all btw :) No Mum or MIL to buy for so OH said I should treat myself to one .... or two  :j so I'm going to! :) I'm not sure in which combination - no £5 vouchers left unless I ask OH if he needs more fusion blades or Mens No7 ;)

Does anyone know the best way to buy? As in buy one, buy the highlighter with coupon from magazine, and use up any extra points I've got floating about? Then take out of the store, re-enter with the £5 off coupon and then get it for £15 and gain another £5 off voucher to spend another time? (Not forgetting any points vouchers that I have of course :))

    Does that make sense? :o:)

    Thanks in advance.

I can't remember who it was but someone on here asked to be informed when the Maclaren Triumph that is reduced from £79.99 to £39.99 is back in stock. I was also after one of these. I've been checking every day but no luck. Today I rang CS and asked whether they would be coming back into stock and I was told that there would be no more stock as they are last years and the stockists has sold all of them.

i know this may have been asked and answered before but i forget
can i buy no7 dream lash mascara and a highlighter. use the free highlighter and 100 points on dream las. with the £5 skincare voucher and still get the gwp? it would mean i have actually spent like £6?

    Yes you can!
Although as usual, sounds like some of the SA's appear to be refusing putting some of the vouchers thru as the terms on the vouchers say 'not to be used in conjunction with any other offer'. Worth a try I got one this morning using the above except I had a £5 off £20 No7 spend PC voucher which I used rather than the current pink voucher you get WYS £10.00
