i really like the clasp bag that is on boots.com but im not paying £3 delivery and can't justify spending another £35.50 to get free postage haha :D:( hope someone enjoys it!

  • I posted earlier (xx pages back ;) ) that I managed to get the above compact. I had seen them in the 75% off sale, so they were deffo 'old' stock, not something new. (Somebody asked a few pages back.) I finally got one, last one in the store, today for £1.60 (90% off). I just wanted it for the voucher inside, which turned out to be a 200pts one to be spent on more No 7!! I paid with points, so cost me nothing, and will use the mini mascara that came with it and might even use some of the eyeshadows (the ones that haven't crumbled, some have  ).

Will try to use 200pts voucher later this week when buying the P&P set mentioned earlier for MIL in combination with Highligher & GWP. Wish me luck ;) . Oh yes, purchases depend on the ACM being back in working order, don't want to miss out on Points on ££ Spend vouchers :D .

passion8, dont you just have the option of changing the text colour when you type a message? ie. above the box you type in it says B for bold, I for italic etc. do you have a box that says A with a small arrow? can't you just change the colour there??

Love it :D Thank you so much jamtart, I'd never have figured that one out! :o :rotfl:

(This should be fun ;) but I'll stop now in case someone thinks it's a bargain post lol)

The same happened to me poundsinbucks. I was idling about, well into the 90% off sale - about 5 days in, when all there seemed to be was crackers and cards, and spotted that gift set and a tube of Badger Balm!

I got the free gwp total to pay was £5.xx but I added some toothbrushes and got another voucher.

I dont know about any other mums out there; but this is always my scenario.

Screaming baby, me trying to quickly take a highlighter and gwp and another item without the No 7 lady catching me , and me pushing screaming baby fast towards the lift to go to the baby section , getting followed by security , pay downstairs, hold my goodies proudly on the way out with receipt in one hand, and have the beady security men watching me as if Ive just stolen them. It annoys me, but sometimes I do feel like Ive just stolen from them.

I have definitely been in that scenario, however my little 3yr old boy this time came to my rescue.
On Saturday, I intended doing 2 No7 transactions to get 2 highlighters (to give to friends) and a GWP. The No7 SA watched me put 1 highlighter in the basket then asked if she could help me (in a suspicious kind of way). I politely replied in the negative (as obviously I wasn't going to pay at that counter!), then gave the basket to OH to carry.
I waited until she was distracted round the other side of the display, picked up the 2nd highlighter & GWP, turned around to put them in the basket but OH was standing with it engrossed in the new mens range right next to the SA

I tried to motion to him, was wispering 'psssst', was waving at him etc but to no avail. Then thankfully, my little boy let go of his Daddy's hand and started dragging the basket over to me, allowing me to make a quick get away to a far away till :rotfl:

He is definitely a little Bootster in the making :happyhear

Thanks pinkytots, and to all that have explained about this gift and posted pics. (I'll retrace my steps and thank you all btw :) No Mum or MIL to buy for so OH said I should treat myself to one .... or two  :j so I'm going to! :) I'm not sure in which combination - no £5 vouchers left unless I ask OH if he needs more fusion blades or Mens No7 ;)

Does anyone know the best way to buy? As in buy one, buy the highlighter with coupon from magazine, and use up any extra points I've got floating about? Then take out of the store, re-enter with the £5 off coupon and then get it for £15 and gain another £5 off voucher to spend another time? (Not forgetting any points vouchers that I have of course :))

    Does that make sense? :o:)

    Thanks in advance.
Why bother going out of the store? Why not just say 'I'll have another one', then when she has put that and the GWP through the till pay with the voucher and cash? Don't forget to get a free highlighter with each one too with a voucher.

Noooo! Gerroff I want it lol. My mum wants some to give as gifts to friends she has to give identical presents to  and is still two short
  • I saw this today but can't find a photo anywhere, sorry. Its a silver/grey oblong box with 4 small pots of body butter type creams in it. I did notice that it was priced at £10 or free with a purchase of £10 so you could just buy one and get one free. I wouldn't say it was worth £10 but definitely worth a fiver, especially as each box contains a £3 voucher, so spend £10 get £6 back, towards another two boxes maybe.

Good enough reason to say that you definitely "need" one I think!

PS jamtart6, I like your idea of using different coloured texts for offers etc.

Saw the Sanctuary GWP today in store today and it is lovely, but there is a flaw in the plan above. I am sure someone mentioned earlier today that the £3 voucher which comes in the GWP can ONLY be spent on Sanctuary items in the WHITE packaging, which means the Skincare items. So you cannot use the £3 voucher towards another GWP unfortunately.

I never thought of that :o plus some of those SA's are scary ;) but I can see how it's all up front. I suspect I was thinking of checking the first box for points lol, and then using those :)

    Thanks!
