Who'd be stupid enough to leave £2k in a current account for 6 months plus doing nothing
( So you are now saying that anyone who leaves money in a current account is stupid )

:rotfl: use the cashpoint and or goto the branch and or use telephone banking - geez! this is tedious ;)
( why should i when the person who gets £1 more than the £500 target still gets their info monthly ) Lmao:rotfl:

( So now you are saying is if i dont like the fact that i could get £500 a month, and receive statements every 3 months, but yet the next person who gets £501 a month gets monthly statements. i should change banks.. wow how petty of you.)

Why do you reply to half a message in a quote and the other outside a quote - it's very difficult to reply too within context of your replies

Yes I'd say if someone kept £2k in a current account doing nothing for 6 months plus it is a stupid thing to do

Because obviously the Halifax has done it's homework and drawn the line at what it deemed appropriate.

You have cashpoint, branch, online and telephone banking and the option to print statements as often as you like for free.

If a customer doesn't like it then they can move banks - quite simply really :)

What's petty about moving bank if you don't like the way you're being treated

    Setmefree,

Why on earth are you obsessed with the receipt of a bank statement? I have access to my account on-line and can get details via ATMs as well as phoning the bank for information if necessary. My statement arrives monthly but I give it no more than a cursory glance as I've assimiliated the information on it from other sources.

Not so such obsessed, more of wanting a reason as to why a person who deposits £501.00 a month gets monthly statements, but a person who deposits £1 less a month is only entitled to a statement every 3 months, and yet the person with the lesser could have a lot more transactions in that month.

But why does it matter? As I said, there are other ways of monitoring an account - and much more up to date than statements being produced once a month.
