I once 'had a go' at Shop and Scan - it was hard work for what you got paid. You had to scan absolutely everything you bought and then go through a load of bar coded sheets and scan that for every item. I think you got something like £1 for every shop. It took me at least 30 mins to get my main weekly shop scanned plus you also had to scan during the week if you bought anything else. I didn't think it was worth the hassle to be honest.
Anyway I'm having a fantastic week. I'm so glad I found this forum which has given me so much motivation.
I won £6 on the Daily Record which takes my bingo winnings over £50! One thing though, I've noticed my first set of withdrawal money is showing in my bank account (ie the £5 I had to pay in to get the money out) but the £25 I paid in the following day to release my £8 isn't showing yet, neither is the £25 I had to pay in to release my £6. Does this mean I'm not going to get my 'winnings' after all??
_party_ I've finally listed loads of stuff on ebay and have made just over £250 (after fees) so far on buy it nows.:D :T
I've also got shed loads of books to list although they don't sell very well on ebay. I had a look at Amazon yesterday but it seems really expensive, or am I getting it wrong? It also looks like you can only charge a maximum p&p of £2.75. Does anyone know if that's correct? I have a few books which are heavy (about 1.1kg) and will cost almost £5 to send plus there's the cost of the packaging materials. Is there a thread anywhere which gives advice on selling on Amazon?
My spending diary is keeping me motivated as well. I daren't spend anything, I'm obsessed with keeping my money in my purse (although I tend not to carry much cash because usually if it's in my purse it gets taken by the spending fairies lol!!)Debt Feb 2008 £36,413.74 - Estimated DFD July 2011:dance:woohoo_party_ £10 per day Feb challenge - £312.50/£2100 -
Just got a profit of £15.04 on bingosky -it is not a cashcade one and is not "free" - you put £10 of your own money in but get a bonus of £100 to play with, so a good chance of winning.
However, it is NOT risk free like the cashcade sites, so please don't do this one if you cannot afford to potentially lose the £10 you have to put in.
I worked on the principal that I have won so much from cashcade that I could "afford" to risk a tenner - that risk paid off for me, but won't do so for everyone.
(sorry, if I am preaching, just want to make sure people know what is risk free and what isn't)!!
Oh, also got 5 points on pigsback!! big deal!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Are there loads of hoops to jump through before you can withdraw, Hypno? Or can you take out your winnings as soon as you get them? £10 for £110 play sounds like a reasonably fair deal (although that also sounds like a helluva lot of bingo to suffer!)!0

I tried the bingosky one last night..still have £90 to work through but didnt like it..only two playable games were a progressive jackpot with a regular win of about £15 and a £1000 game which could be won within a certain amount of called balls.
didnt win diddly on the progressive so hopefully some better games when im home from work.Debt Free Marathon: Start 01/06/09 £16714 - Current Position £14514 - Finish Line Xmas 20100 -
I won my "full house" after about 3 games, so not too much to endure. Depost £10 to open the account and work through in the same way as the others we have done. They use "your" £10 first before the free bonus money, and you withdraw as soon as you win (min £20 withdrawal so not so much need to add further funds) and away you go. You then lose the remainder of the bonus just like the others.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. I was wondering if there was anyone else out there who hadn't won ANYTHING on bingo (like me!) I've played 10 sites now and not a sausage!
Hi Pinkkaz - you posted the above yesterday and I wondered if you've tried again and had any luck yet?0
