£20.18 today, mainly from Bingo wins and clicking - anyone any thoughts for the next plan of attack once the Bingo has run out - any minute for me I'm afraid, but its been a blooming good ride!

I had this happen on one of the bingo sites but all you had to do was use you rewards points to get £10 worth of credit, maybe this is the same site.

Today I went to one of my favorite things, a library sale. My own house has about as many books, but the ladies in the library have told me any books they don't sell in the one day sale get put in a skip (not even recycled :eek: !) so i take anything that i like the look of for me, and any textbooks as I know someone will need these. My library charge £1 per carrier bag, or the one down the road charges £3 per bin bag. Got 7 bags today, for which I gave them a tenner, but it's at least 200 books, I remember the days when I wouldn't have thought twice about paying £7 for one book! :rotfl:

Wow thats amazing and I know you don't intend to sell them but you could make an awful lot of money from those books

I know but I didn't know if it was ethical, so I'm wrestling a little inside! That and I just can't bear to be parted from books :rotfl:! I fully intend to sell the textbooks though, I was a student not so long ago, and I remember paying up to £80 for some of them, so if someone can get one for £5 and in the process, make me a fiver too, I consider that win-win!

Paypal say they will help fight my case but i dont think they are doing a very good job about it. Where is the verification? I posted the item to the registered address so it really annoys me that I have to lose out.

On the other side I can see how annoying it would be to be a victim of this but its the credit cards who offer the insurance against buying on line. Why should I have to lose out when i have done everything right in the eyes of paypal and ebay.

How unfair to you - that should be covered by the credit card company. PayPal are very very "buyer" friendly and don't work hard enough to support the "sellers" who are making them money - I hope they sort you out, keep us posted

Evening all, just been busy catching up on the last few pages. Not much to report from me, i received a £10 Amazon voucher today from juicy brains panel and also a £2 cheque from Acop, so have that to add to my total.

Hi there

Well, I'm a bit chuffed today cos the mystery shop that went pear shaped yesterday was rescheduled for today so that's £8 to add to my total. I've also got a piggy bank full of money that I'm planning on emptying just before my holiday but as it's a mixture of coins I don't expect to be breaking the grand total barrier just yet

Oh well, I'll just bat along with bingo when it's quieter. Tried yesterday and didn't win a brass farthing
