    Batgirl - you said

'Asset I must say that sounds really harsh, I think we can all see the question that is being asked and I am sure you meant this as a joke but it sounds harsh and I' scared that this will scare newbies away.'

I can see you've later amended your opinion slightly but just to say it really wasn't meant to be harsh, I was only joking - taking the thought to its ultimate extreme - and it does raise interesting questions about savings, as the discussion that followed showed. But I'll try to keep my sense of humour in check as it often looks different written down and can easily be taken the wrong way. Sorry!

I think thats probably the problem things written can look completely different when written rather than spoken.

    Hi everyone

Not posted recently, been really busy.

I'm up to £175 though which is mainly thanks to Ebay. I don't think I will make my target but I haven't done too badly seeing as I joined in the middle of the month.

Need to do some carboots but haven't got enough stuff for this month so that will be left to next month's challenge.

Are people counting vouchers for this challenge? I won £300 worth of Toys R Us vouchers the other day and these will be used wisely for birthdays/Christmas (or more likely sold nearer the end of next month when I am skint!! ;) ).

Good to see you back Emily, maybe count them as you use them? if that makes sense, or count them all now or when you sell them up to you really

This is the only month I have used bingo and all the other months its been mystery shopping, ebay selling amazon selling, surveys, car boots, competition wins etc etc, much harder though, this has been one of my easier months, so hard work next month, also fidn the more months you do the harder it gets and as next month is my 7th month in a row I'm a bit nervous :o
