Seriously guys - anyone interested in saving money using MOCs or seriously collecting Tesco points have a look at;
www.paidtoshop.co.uk
Some of you (hi welsh) will already know the site. It is so friendly and the information over there is immense. It's a lot to take in but once you get it, it's fab!!
Panda, re your pm - I can send you that. It's in work tho so it'll not be until tomorrow - hope that's ok.
Off out soon - DSS 18th birthday so all going out for a meal. Thank goodness for this challenge - can now enjoy it without having to worry about how we are paying!
Thanks! Byeeeee:D0 -
I've just looked at the matched betting thread and it is amazingly detailed. I can't understand it and it made my brains hurt! It does say that you need to read it through a few times....but it needs spreadsheets and I never could do those. Also, even if I suddenly understand it all, my problem is I just HATE football and wouldn't know who to bet on anyway! Is there anyone here who hates football but has managed to do matched betting successfully?0

I started matched betting last year, and have no knowledge of or interest in football (or any other sport!). You don't need any sporting knowledge - you pick your bets on the basis of the odds on offer.
It took me ages to get my head around it too, but after reading the intro thread over & over again for a few weeks, it eventually just clicked. There's a spreadsheet linked to in the thread that you can download, so you don't need to make your own - you just put in your stake and the odds, and it does the calculations for you (plus the ppl on the gambling offers board are very helpful if you get stuck). Don't be put off because you don't understand it yet - just keep reading the guide, and it will sink in eventually, and it's really worth persevering, because it's such easy money!0 -

SC, I'm such a newbie, and so unsure of what I'm doing, I'd never dare offer help to anybody else, for fear of getting it catastrophically wrong. I keep thinking, when I've made a match, well, if I've done it wrong, I know I'm up a bit, so it won't matter too much if this one is wrong. I only started doing it after I'd read the intro for the 3rd time, over a period of about 8 months. The detail of it is not simple, not at all, tho the principle really is.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
