These postings amount to torture:) all this talk of unhealthy fattening food. Why wasn't I born with the 'fat gene' missing .When I was young I was a skinny bag of bones who could eat a small horse and not put an ounce on,having just read these posts I swear I have imbibed at least 2000 calories just thinking about Brioche.Yesterday I was in Ghent and the smell of the cooking waffles dripping in chocolate and honey was wonderful but I did behave and only had a hot choclate smothered in cream:0 but did walk for the rest of the day in an attempt to walk it off
:):) don't think it worked though Oh well back to the ryvita I suppose

I think that God-like custard broiche in Lidl is about two quid. It's a long, long time since I could afford one but the memory lingers.0

It is - I haven't bought one for years but the kids used to beg for them when they were young, I can still taste the memory though :rotfl:0 -
It's even more delicious if you bung it in a warm oven for a few minutes.0
