As much as it pains me to say that you should spend an extra £1, I think that you should include the fee in both.
That way neither of them have any way to say that the request you have made is not above board and legal. As you have already seen, when faced with someone who is aware of their rights and the law they will use even the smallest technicality to try and wiggle out of a tight corner.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Hello,
I have today recieved a letter form BC+W who have sent my £1 postal order back and advised that they " do not hold copy credit agreements at this office, as we are not the creditor..."
And also "..I would advise that i have placed this account on hold adn have asked our client to forward the documents to you directly."
I have yet to hear from Aktiv Kapital who i also sent the same letter.
Any advice on what i sould do next? Sorry to be so dim but i honestly have no idea of this process at all.0 -
Hello? Any ideas on this?0

Sit tight. The ball is in Aktiv Kapital's court now.
Unless they provide a valid agreement, then neither they or anyone they ask to act for them (BC&W etc) can legally attempt to recover the debt.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Hello there
From what you have wrote and in my limited understanding B&W have admited they do not have a cca for you so they can hang for the minute, but keep a eye for more info from more experienced people.0 -
