i have just sold a full size mountain bike on ebay and was hoping it would be bought locally, but gave the option for delivery. does anyone know of a company that will collect and deliver this. Also where I can get packaging from. was going to try bikes shops for a box.

take the handle bars, seat and both wheels of wrap it in bubble wrap and use Parcel force or the ilk... or even a business courrier they are used to it...
or just a thought Take it on the train yourself could be cheaper ( depending on where you are and where your posting it toTHE SHABBY SHABBY FOUNDER0 -
It maybe worthwhile phoning the likes of ParcelForce, DHL or the likes of that type of courier for some assistance
Don't forget to take the pedals off too, or they're gonna stick out of the packaging.
just in case you don't know the pedal on the left has a left handed thread so unscrews in the opposite direction (Clockwise) to normal threads (Anti-Clockwise)0 -
Ask halfords for some bike packing, they will dispose of lots.0
