3 pay monthly contract expired. Continued to use the phone regularly. Now service is occasionally cut off for a few hours up to a couple of days at a time. If I call them they say it's because I'm 'not using a 3 handset' or because I'm 'using a 2g handset'. Asked why it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't, they have no explanation. I continue to be billed and pay on time.
It's obvious that they are periodically cutting off my phone because I'm not signing up to another year's contract with them. but does anyone have any experience of this or any solution to the completely erratic phone service?
Reluctant to sign up for another year because I don't know how long I'll be in the country, but also need a phone that works and resent being blatantly manipulated by a phone company when I pay all my bills on time.
In search of something in writing, I have emailed them on a couple of addresses from this forum but received bounce-back reply 'this email address no longer in use' referring me back to their website.
