I hangled out lots of laundry and it is merrily blowing itself dry out there.. woohoo.. the TD's aren't on!!!

I have 2 empty wash baskets.. I may go strip another bed to fill the 2 half loads I have.. and no doubt if I go in the boys rooms I could fill both baskets without moving anything else!

I think I'll go chop and freeze the remaining slightly fluffy onions I have in the freezer.. did I ever post the pic of the furry onions I fed my hubby last week??

Tia.. is it a DAB radio? Have you tried the arrow?? without sounding like a PR person.. I really like Indie/Rocky.. ie heavy bass and this satisfies my craving usually, and a lot of it is older stuff.. I hate commercial radio with all the ad's etc..

'non-stop rock.. all rock radio'.. kind of does it for me.. whitesnake.. :D .. bon jovi.. :D.. fratellis :D.. ocean colour scene.. :D... queen... hmm.. I flip over to kerrang when they get to playing too much rolling stones and beatles!! and sometimes if I am feeling a bit chavvy.. *gulp* galaxy

    Afternoon all,

Just had a catch up over some lunch.
    mudbath - liked the singing
g&b - loved the clip and yes carp does appear from nowhere
embb - don't over do it with all the cleaning you don't want to end up hurting/pulling something
dusty - very wise words for today will try to follow them
vanilla - very envious of your lit fire I would love one but modern houses and real fires don't go
pigpe - I have joined the ebay listers and listed 5 things on Sunday I have about another 50 bits lying around so can I suggest a ebay listing session over the next few weeks.

My catch up list seems huge but as I gutted the bedroom at the weekend I don't have much to do there.

    Here goes -
Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room/Area
    Level One
    Clean floors in these areas
    Level Two
    [strike]
    Wipe down surfaces
Wipe kitchen cupboard fronts and kickboards
    [/strike]
Wipe down fronts of major appliances (cooker, firdge, freezer etc) and inside the microwave
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round[/STRIKE]
Clean the oven if you missed it last week or it needs it

Extra tasks if you want to do more
    • Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
    Tuesday - Lovely Living Rooms
    Level One
[STRIKE]Vacuum floors in these areas, even if around clutter [/STRIKE]
    Level Two
    [strike]Move clutter[/strike] [STRIKE]
so you can vacuum under it
Vacuum and wipe (if needed) sofas
Dust any areas below eye level
    [/STRIKE]
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Dust anything above eye level (if safe to do so)[/STRIKE]
[strike]Clear anything that shouldn't be where it is, ahem that includes that cup[/strike]!
Extra Mission Tasks - as usual if you fancy tackling something else you could try one or more of these
    • Spend 15 minutes sorting paperwork, dealing with anything urgent NOW
    • Wipe down window frames in these rooms (inside) clean any marks from window
    • Clean out the vacuum cleaner, empty the bag/bucket, clean filters if they are washable MAKE SURE YOU DON'T PUT THEM BACK UNTIL THEY ARE DRY!
Wednesday - Master Bedrooms and Landings
    Level One
    [strike]Strip bed linen and wash[/strike], [STRIKE]replace with clean linen[/STRIKE]
    Level Two
[STRIKE]Vacuum floors in these areas [/STRIKE]
    Level Three
    [STRIKE]
    Vacuum mattress
    Clean tops of drawers
    [/STRIKE]

Extra mission tasks, as always if you fancy an extra challenge try one or more of these
    • Spend 30 minutes doing something for you, anything you like, call it 'midweek me time'
    • Clean windows in the bedroom, make sure you wipe the sill too
    • Clean doors including handles downstairs
    Also

    Hi everyone,

about a Level 2 in the bedroom - not hard, as it still only contains a bed and a lot of bags of clothes. The one which is mine is beautifully folded, and I'm not touching OH's.

I've also done the weekly shop, bought a second pair of rugby shorts for DS2 who discovered this morning that the first pair is too small, and delivered them into school for his match this pm.

I'm just about to deliver DS1, and then off to my favourite garden centre because I need some plants (not want you note, but really need) ;) .I'm going to spend the rest of the afternoon in the garden. I had an hour yesterday, and I'm really sorry Dusty, but I don't like cats. (Or rather, what all the neighbours' cats leave in my garden.

All three finish school/revision class/rugby match at different times this evening - really irritating, three separate trips to school.

The supply agency rang, and are hoping to send me out next week - gulp. I'm already feeling wobbly.

Happy birthday to AnW's W - lost track in the posts, today or tomorrow?

I have to read all the posts as well, that's why I don't have much time for housework!

Good luck with the course lil_me
