Morning all. Just managed to read through all the posts. \wow, I got to town for lunch and it takes ages to catch up with you all.
I took DS3 into town yesterday morning in his undies (and trousers of course) and he was a star. Asked for the toilet 3 times, didn't have an accident. I think I left the potty training to the exact right time, no work for me getting all worked up and stressed about it. I think i can say he is trained.:o He is so proud of himself.
On the flying side I did sweet FA yesterday. I was going to start before i went to town but as soon as i got in from morning school run, phone rang and i HAD to talk to friend for an hour, then it was almost time for me to meet my Mum in town:rolleyes:.
I will be playing catch up today.Nothing to declare

Morning All.
Well not having a good today. I am really missing my sister and really could do with one of her hugs. Have been listening to Nan's song by Robbie Williams and having a good cry. Hope I can feel better soon.January Grocery 11/3740 -
Morning everyone
I'm afraid I'm one of those that only reads the last couple of pages before posting, because I just can't keep up! Sorry when I don't know what's going on!
However - thank you to lil-me for posting the lists, and thank you to pigpen for taking over.
Despite "clean oven" appearing on the list every other week, it took a "Clean your oven, you filthy mare" from pigpen to actually motivate me to do it, so I'm sure our houses will be squeaky clean :rotfl:
Some wise words earlier yesterday from pigpen and lil-me about parenting and weight loss too.
Here's where I had got to last time I posted:
Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room/Area
Level Three
Clean washer drawer, filters on the dryer
Extra tasks if you want to do more- Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
- Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps, a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
- Empty one shelf (or the top of a cupboard) clean it, clean what's on it and put it all back
- Clean out and organize one cupboard, more if you like
- Wipe & replace small appliances likekettle, toaster etc (wipe under too, especially the toaster!)

Level Three
[strike]Dust anything above eye level (if safe to do so)
Clear anything that shouldn't be where it is, ahem that includes that cup![/strike]
Wipe the bits next to the steps on the stairs, yours might be skirting board, edging of some sort, grab a cloth and give it a wipe
Extra Mission Tasks - as usual if you fancy tackling something else you could try one or more of these- Check where important documents like passports, birth certificates, driving licences, medical cards are and make a note of where they are and if any need replacing, changing etc (yes I know it's repeated but lots of members were not about when it was done)
- Spend 15 minutes sorting paperwork, dealing with anything urgent NOW
- Wipe down window frames in these rooms (inside) clean any marks from window
- Clean out the vacuum cleaner, empty the bag/bucket, clean filters if they are washable MAKE SURE YOU DON'T PUT THEM BACK UNTIL THEY ARE DRY!
- 20 minutes ironing time to get that pile down, oh and make sure you put it away!

Morning all just scoffing breakie before the school run and then my walk - lovely and sunny here.
AnWsMum I hope your little aquarian has a wonderful day x
Dusty's wise words for the day most americans have lost the sensation of thirst and have replaced it with hunger. Today if you think you are hungry then have a small glass of water and wait 10 minutes to see if you still feel hungry (Not for Pigpen and the sugar shakers! although you can be thirsty too you know)The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Morning peeps.
Hope you are all well.
The sun is shining here with on a little breeze (well looking out of the window anyway as I'm still sat in my dressing gown).
Feeling better than I did when I first woke up and texted boss to say I wasnt coming in, but that might be due to the cold and flu pills and ibuprofen I've taken. Now feel almost human enough to do something in the house which will be the first this week. Better start with the kitchen as OH (sorry DH) cooked tea yesterday and all the pots n pans and crockery is all 'soaking' in the sink!
Love the singin Mudbath great start to the day
Happy birthday to W
Love all your wise words Dusty
embb lucky you with DD doing so much, just dont overdo it yourself
Glad someone asked about pigpens bread bombs, I was wondering, sound much more fun than bread rolls
Just wanted to say to viv, you seem to be doing a fantastic job for a newcomer, you seem to manage to achieve so much from your list for a F/T worker.
To everyone else who there are now too many to mention, have a great day
Gotta fly as OH will be home from school run and class assembly in a min and dont want him to find me on here AGAIN :rotfl:Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
LO off nursery again today as she has diarrhea (sp?). She is fine in herself, doesnt seem ill at all except the 4 times an hour visits to the toilet. She also had 2 dirty nappies last night, this is a first for about 2 years. Today wont be quite as productive as i'd hoped, oh well ill do my best.
DW been on, just about to empty
WM been on with bedclothes, now TD on.
Just making a start on the list:D

Morning everyone, just crossing off the rest of yesterday's list for good measure. Hope everyone had a nice night - I slept well on my new mattress topper. Don't think I moved an inch cause my hair was still the way it was when I fell asleep!! Almost didn't get out of bed this morning...
soappie - Where about in the South do you live? I'm feeling left out from everyone talking about getting snow - hoping we may get a sprinkle. I live on the Hampshire, Surrey & Berkshire boarder. (Isn't it crazy when you can go through three different counties in the space of 10 minutes....??)
mumofjusttwo - Hope the Lion King song, as suggested by others, has cheered you up! It always makes me laugh! Especially when the OH sings it sometimes when I get out of the shower - the cheek! *blushes embarassingly* (If the song didn't make you laugh - that should have!) Hugs to you, hope you're feeling a bit better!
Right, it took me an hour to read all of the posts since my last one and I need a tea break. Anyone for tea/coffee??
How do I do the cup of coffee icon???? HELP!Official DFW Member 716 - Proud to be dealing with my debts0
