LOL phil I paint a bit of everything. Still lives, landscapes, life drawings (yes naked models but alas no footballers - that's Lou's diseased imagination).
Also abstract which is really my fave. :)

Anyway enough about me. What about you? What do you photograph?

You are clearly very skilled. I just take pics of ponds, swans, trees-- all that boring stuff.

Aww that's not boring stuff. It's quite beautiful actually.

And thanks for the compliment, which I do not entirely deserve though.

Thanks, Q. I will visit boots next week and have a go. I just hope they come out better than these I have printed.

I know it was a mistake cost wise to get a HP printer but nevermind now!

The thing is if the photo is no good in the first place, it's going to come out crap wherever you have it printed and however much you pay.

I took some photos URL="http://picasaweb.google.com/kipamum/ConnectNationalMuseumEdinburgh/photo#5071766554574864194"]this one[/URL, URL="http://picasaweb.google.com/kipamum/WellyWalkTorringtonCommons130507/photo#5064069730376613282"]this one[/URL and URL="http://picasaweb.google.com/kipamum/NationalMuseumEdinburgh/photo#5071764153688144978"]this one[/URL with my fairly average camera and printed them A4 size, using my brothers fairly average HP printer and they've come out really well.
On the other hand I sent some photos off to Snapfish to be printed and they look rubbish (and this is because the photos weren't so good in the first place).

Not only do you need to know how to use your camera to the best of its ability but also the same for your printer/photo manipulation software too.
:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j
