Received Giro- but unsure of which post office to cash it

Samoeone I know has recently apploed for JSA. He received a giro yesterday and went to his local post office to cash it- but they said that it wasnt for there- nd they didnt know where the post office was that the code on the giro was for Is there anyway of finding this out?
