The poor guy has lost his job and his career yet all the ex wants to do is put in the boot, why because he dares to have a partner who works. She is not responsible to pay for the children. Because you are their father and thus 50% responsible for their financial upkeep. It has nothing to do with contact with them, or your feelings/relationship with your ex.
