Some people on usenet are reporting that they've been told that Woolies will be honouring all early orders placed for up to 3 handsets.
If that's true then that would be a big thumbs up for Woolies and the small consumer and a poke in the eye for the ebay profiteers.

RMFor anyone wishing to contact me privately to ask me a question, can I ask that you email me directly as my PM box is often full.0 -
Just off the phone, the nice lady who answered told me that their are some problems with the system and someone will be contacting me about my order either today or tomorrow.... :-/0

I have just spoke with a nice young man (Shaun) at Wollies. They had over 4000 phone calls yesterday about the phones. It was a pricing error and some greedy sods ordered 100 phones. They are going to honour the genuine customers and those that ordered up to two will receive the phones.
Now, in my view, if Wollies had refused to play ball I would have said "Tough luck, we tried"!
Full marks to Wollies imho.0 -
Had this email today - the last paragraph is the important bit...
Dear Customer
Thank you for your recent order for a number of mobile phone gift packages. Unfortunately, over the weekend, there was a system error on our website which meant that the price we advertised the mobile phone gift package at was considerably lower than the correct selling price.
In accordance with the terms and conditions of our website, a disclaimer is displayed to incorporate any such errors. The terms and conditions specify:
‘Although we endeavour to ensure that all pricing information on the Website is accurate, occasionally an error may occur and goods may be mispriced. If we discover a pricing error we will, at our discretion, either contact you and ask you whether you wish to continue with the order at the correct price or notify you that we have cancelled your order. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price’.
Woolworths endeavours to ensure that all pricing information on its website is accurate. However on very rare occasions, errors do occur. As a gesture of goodwill, we are able to offer you a maximum of two mobile phone gift packages. However, we cannot accept any further orders for this item at the incorrect price.
